- In this Dalcroze Eurhythmics game, students learn to predict and be sensitive to phrase lengths when they are asked to walk when the music plays, and clap during the silence. The game is being taught by Dr. Gregory Ristow, a Dalcroze teacher who is assistant professor of music and director of choral activities at DePauw University.

The art visible in the background is Billow and Five Dogwoods by artist Nancy Blum, on display in the Colorado State University Art Museum. (The DSA offers its thanks to the museum staff.)
Eurhythmics is so overlooked and ignored in music schools. It is essential for internalizing the beat.
I could've watched a twenty minute video of this. Very cool.
May I know what song is that?
Very good
I like the video
Very cool! What name of the music played at 0:36? How can I find that sheet music?
Dalcroze music is usually improvised by the teacher/person conducting the class. This is one hallmark of Dalcroze pedagogy - the teacher/facilitator is required to be a good improvisor. Reason is to adapt to the class/students capabilities and also adapt to the activities/movements you plan to do for the day. There is no fixed repertoire used in Dalcroze.
