51:20 ish I don't understand why she keeps saying/thinking no one believed in her and everyone disregarded her dream and being so sad and distressed like canon Izuku when in this her DAD fully believed, supported, and encouraged her from a young age. What is this conundrum??? Does she just not count her dad? Does he not matter despite the emotional and financial/interpersonal help he's been providing?? And what about her teachers? She's being trained as an assassin and is a top student, they don't believe and encourage her?? 😮 Edit: At 1:05:00 ish this version of izuku is in underground fight clubs. FIGHT CLUBS. An a apparently a top contender along with fuckin Bakugo! And her assassin graduation thing was also her entry into underground heroics somehow and being judged by actual heros... Her canon depression of no one believing in her, being taken seriously or being on her side is making even less sense to me than it did before!!😵💫
Hi, the actual author here. So, it kinda explains in the part 2 of the vid? or Chapter 7 of my story. Basically, girl got traumatized cause when she was young, quirkless of all ages were gathered up into camps. I haven't specified what were done to them in those camps, but I'm heavily implying a lot of traumatizing stuff happened. Cause when they were freed because of major backlash of the government's action, they all came out almost feral? Something like that... Maybe if I continue the story someday I'll be able to elaborate more. Sorry!
@@shenab57 Oh awesome! Hi!! And yeah I remember that being touched on in the audio but what you're saying and what I got from it seems mad different. I mean what i took from the brief descriptions of that event was that yeah she was affected and traumatized but became more determined and like 20 times more spiteful as a result? And the lingering impact to her is more subtle. Especially after her health improved. Which is how she's kept up the things she's doing and excelling across the board. Talent and spite. But you're saying now that its actually supposed to imply that she's stuck in a mental trauma loop of semi delusion of never amounting to anything and no one believing in her? Am I understanding that right?? That'd be a helluva head space to be in...does she just hear white noise when ppl encourage her? Think her family and "friends"/friendly acquaintances are lying when they praise her? Think her high placements or top rank was given out of pity or a mistake she's not gonna correct them on???? Is that what's actually been going on??? Cuz THAT went right over my head lol
@@Erioru7 It's more like, she sees the world seeing her quirklessness as being more than just a disability but something that can be weaponized against her. Her every achievement, in her mind, is overshadowed by her suppressed fear of people using her quirklessness against her, subconsciously. At the same time, she knows she can manipulate people with what she learned along the way. This loops back to what happened to her when she was taken away from her family. She wants to prove to both the world and herself that the bravado she shows is true. She's still in self-delusion that she can't let others in enough to know how much she fears being isolated due to her quirklessness. "I am good. I'm one of the best! This is my armor. LOOK AT ME! I'M TALENTED! I'M PRETTY!!! I'M NOT USELESS. I'M NOT DEFECTIVE! I'M JUST LIKE YOU! NO, I'M BETTER! I WILL BE BETTER THAN ANYONE!!! please... don't take me away again. I am loved. I will be loved. EVERYONE WILL LOVE ME." This was my thought line while I wrote her and how she reacts to the world.
