How brave of the female GP to open up about her mental health, its fabulous to here shes come through it and i think her being so open about it will lead to other patients feeling more comfortable going to speak to their GPs if they are struggling, as it just makes you realise we are all human and may need a little help from others from time to time
As a person with mental health issues myself, I think is really important to share the struggles with other prople. There’s nothing to me ashamed of, and it can help someone suffering the same stuff.

This boy will go to a secondary school for SEN students meaning special educational needs students a school that will help him with his autism his disabilities and his learning disabilities so he wouldn’t get bullied in a normal high school I should know what I’m talking about because I actually myself have learning difficulties myself but very mild not as much as this boy has he wouldn’t cope in a normal high school he will get beaten black and blue and bullied because of his disabilityLearning disabilities and for his autism a boy went to the same school as me he always used to carry around strips of paper and take them about in his hands but some people that’s what some children do with autism

The whole school ethos is built around the notion that everyone has the right to feel safe at school . There are many specialist schools for those that are not able to follow the national curriculum , and these schools can offer individual educational experienes for them .
I feel sad when I see programs like this because the doctors are always so helpful and lovely but I have never come across any so nice I would love to have doctors like them
I’ve always found that, talking to someone, who has personal experience of mental illness, they relate & empathize, as if they had walked your path, with you. I don’t think, as complex & all consuming, as mental health is, you understand it fully, until you’ve been there. 👏🏻 for the GP & huge ❤️ for sharing her story & getting the message of “it’s ok to not be ok,” out in the world x Mental health doesn’t discriminate & even the people we turn to, when things go wrong for us, aren’t exempt - it’s a medical condition, just like any other x
Proud of the last doctor for admitting her eating disorder and being open about her mental health as a doctor. I think sometimes doctors try to be perfect and sometimes have the most problems. They have to work so hard and put themselves under so much stress. There is even a doctor on UA-cam that shows signs of an eating disorder (dermatologist). I'm sure you can find her.
DR Ashleigh Helm, I just wanted to say after watching Dr Helm consult with Toni, that years ago I may have felt her approach would have made me feel less confident in her ability to aid my recovery, (sorry but do you get what I mean very nice but not forth with and adamant) NOW I would love to have this Dr on my side, she gets it, she is confident in her ability, knowledge and experience so much so that she is relaxed and not in competition to proof herself and her worth, Sadly lacking in some GPs/Doctors/Consultants/ Specialists/Nurses and associates.

@@angrypanda1984 you really need to reel your neck in on this one. You don't have a clue what you're on about. Most ear infections are viral. Discharge is normal with them. As a parent, she knows her child the best, and he is clean, well fed, and is FINE. She brought him in to the doctor when she noticed what was going on, and looking at the discharge, it hasn't ruptured (that would require an A&E visit, not a clinic visit as you see here). All you can do is give for a viral ear infection at this stage is paracetamol/ibuprofen with kids, and let them ride it out - there used to be numbing drops but they were pulled off the market because they were making people go deaf by dissolving the bones (hammer/anvil/stirrup) in the ear it's self. There's no reason for you to drag this mother, especially since you don't know what you're on about.
I can say after having two out and on my 3rd inplant there is no pain when having it removed it just feels a bit strange with all the pulling and tugging the only painful bit is the anaesthetic injection as it does sting abit
When I had my implant taken out they had a hard time my husband had to leave the room because he started to feel sick after watching it but he was with me through out 12 hours of labor with no problem.
Bless that boy is brave. I'm on the contraception implant, it's my first one. I'm wondering will a woman bleed as soon as the implant comes out, just before the new one goes in? If yes, I wonder for how long? I'm due my next implant, in 2022.
I don't think so unless there's a time when one isn't in. Here they took out the previous one and put a new one in right away so the hormones should remain stable. But anything is possible as everyone reacts differently.
@@lailawickenden4230 didn’t feel it, if you’re concerned though when they put the numbing injection in and they then ask if you can feel it just say you can and they’ll put more numbing in and you’ll be safe
I have anxiety and panic attacks panic disorder and flashbacks PTSD because of my past and I have four panic attacks or two everyday at school and thoughts of self harm
@@zoephillips9865 some times when people are in a bad place they try to reach out in any way they are able. Not very nice to doubt them when you don't know the circumstances. Holly, I really do hope you are doing better now but if you aren't there are people who can help. It can be very difficult to seek support, but life can be better I promise. I hope you find peace in your mind soon- please don't be afraid to seek the help and wellbeing you deserve

Oof! Two of my daughters had the Nexplanon implant and both had to have them removed due to the implant shifting in their arms. My older daughter had it do a deep dive into her arm and it became entangled in her muscle. She had to have surgery to get the darn thing out! My younger daughter had it travel towards her elbow, and her body encapsulated it. They were able to retrieve it, but they had to cut her arm length wise to get it out.
@@TinyPigy282 it honestly depends on the nurse doing the job. The first one was painful because I had 2 people working on it, tryna pull it. But the 2nd one I didn't even feel it. It was one nurse who was very calm and confident and she did it really quickly with no pain whatsoever
I watch things like this and the doctors are always great and they will say things like if your worried about anything see your doctor but in the real world doctors are not all like that and to be honest I have still to see one who is
I have a great GP. If i have any concerns, i can go to her, and if i have have thoughts on my health, she listens, she assumes I know my body best. So some are out there.
Any kind of birth control stops you from producing eggs. When you have a period while on birth control it’s just a withdrawal bleed with no egg released. There’s no evidence that it has any negative effect and women have been using birth control for many years.

You get the new one in as soon as the old one comes out, just like in the video. The hormones won't get a chance to fully leave your body.

My nurse took 40 minutes to get mine out. I had to call someone to pick me up because I got so light headed.
I had it done once and the nurse didn’t numb my arm it was agony
