M2 Submarine Wreck Dive - May 2023

The HMS M2 Submarine is a 90 metre long sub that is still stood upright on the seabed at a depth of around 32m. She's fully intact and an amazing wreck to dive.
She is the only submarine built that has a flight deck. The small plane (with bi-folding wings) use to be catapulted off the deck and then pulled back in via a crane. Tragically, in 1932, she sank during a training exercise when her hanger doors were not sealed shut properly before submerging. Sadly, all crew members onboard lost their lives, leaving the wreck a resting site.
