$350K 4% annual CD will make $14K for the year that’s it. The important thing is that if you have some money and not sure where to put it a CD could be an excellent option but you will only make annual percentage rate for year.

Bro, that isn't how APR is calculated. You will not get 14k per month. You will get 350k x 4.05% / 12, which would be $1,181.25 per month for the 6 months your 350k is tied up. APR is an annual percentage rate, you aren't getting that percentage monthly.

Fasting is fantastic, I started already. It great refresher and one to refocus. I did not fast as much last year and it was not a great year at all. I am back to being aligned with God here on end.

You may have to calculate your interest on CD again. The interest rate is spread over the tenor of the deposit and not monthly. Therefore, your calculation of 14k should be for the entire duration of the deposit.

Your right but it compounds because it’s a yield so it winds up being like 5-6% on the year

That 4.05% is an annual interest (not monthly). In 12 mo., you would make $14K (not $168K). $168K would be an annualized return of 48% (not 4.05%).

The whole point of wealth for me is freedom. My magic number in my mind is 5 million needed at 65 to not worry about anything. Am i better off investing a good portion of my income into stocks or real estate to achieve this goal?
Varied sources of income is wise and especially living within your means. My net worth is $2M and I can pay my bills with no stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints.

I'm quite lucky exposed to personal finance at an early age, started job 19, bought first home 28, got laid-off work 36 amid covid-outbreak, and at once I consulted an advisor to handle growing my finance. As of today, I'm only 25% short of my $1m goal after subsequent investments.

You may have to calculate your interest on CD again. The interest rate is spread over the tenor of the deposit and not monthly. Therefore, your calculation of 14k should be for the entire duration of the deposit.
