    Unfortunately, Tofutti has palm oil so it is not cruelty-free...and buzz words like "sustainable" are not regulated. Thankfully, there are brands such as Kite Hill & Miyoko's that offer plant-based palm oil free options. Plus, Miyoko has some great recipes out including one for plant-based cream cheese so that you can make your own. If you don't like cashews in this recipe, you can experiment with other mild nuts such as almonds and macadamias. If you want to opt for nut free, you can try tofu, soy beans or other mild beans such as cannellini beans.)
