Hello, so I'm assuming from what you said, there would not be anymore textbook information to study and memorise for because we already studied everything we need to be a doctor in your first 2 years of medical school? Is that how it works?

hello!! actually learning never stops in medicine, even after we graduate and start working as doctors...HAHA because there is just too much content and always new scientific discoveries that we have to constantly keep up with! y1-y2 is mainly for learning content but that's just the most basic content! from y3-y5, we learn more in depth content through clinical settings, but we also still have tutorials, lectures and exams for pure content learning both in and out of the hospital!

@shaynenigans Ahhh I see I see. Also, I've read multiple articles and have had testimonials for real healthcare workers that being one, especially a doctor in his/her earlier years is hell, filled with toxic consultants micro-managing your life and forcing you to under report your working hours with the reason being incompetency as well as only 1-2 residency slots for each speciality especially the highly competitive ones like orthopaedics and paediatrics as well as many finding being a doctor is not what they expected as an escape from desk jobs because there is still a significant amount of paperwork that needs to be done. My question is, despite all of these prevalent issues which have been blatantly ignored when brought up to the MOHH, why do you still choose and want to be a doctor?

@@shinyfennecfox1421 hey!! well there are many many reasons honestly, maybe one day i'll make a video on it? not sure HAHA but i guess the tldr is that i still find a lot of meaning in what a doctor does, especially how they do a lot of problem solving, piecing of puzzles tgt and patient interaction!
