- Leviticus describes the worship life of the nation of Israel. We discover how the Israelites were instructed to make atonement for their sin through sacrifice. The overarching theme of this book can be summed up in one word: holiness. After centuries of captivity in Egypt, the Israelites needed a reminder of who God is, His absolute holiness, and how they were to live set apart for Him.

I love John and Mathew 11, but my favorite ideal in the Bible is your point that all Scripture stands together and in Grace we truly need that to see the Journey of God with us and His dealings with the individual and community.

to get closer to Jesus.sometimes it’s a divorce.a death of a loved one a career.a job etc but it worth it all glory belongs to God Almighty hopefully that helps a little.
Strange Fire could mean the priests used something other than Frankincense. Frankincense doesn't yield its fragrance until its burned. The symbolism is beautiful. One of the best books ever on Leviticus is "The Way to Wholeness" by Ray Stedman. After reading that book, Leviticus really is my favorite book of the Bible!!!!!

Why do you fly above when every word on the page is very important? If you fly high, you miss the greatest things.
About the food being unclean for us physically, FDA etc I believe thats incorrect...Firstly, Its unclean to the children of Israel spiritually then physically...and alot of things that are FDA approved for us to consume these days are not even safe

When my mom died I took her bible and ripped it up. I then took a handful of pages and wiped my ass with it. I looked at it and my shit was smeared over the title of "Leviticus". So it's kind of a coincidence that you'd do a piece on Leviticus....
