    Hi, thank you for this tutorial. What is the stitch length you are using?

    • @corkandthread
      @corkandthread  7 місяців тому +1

      I use a stitch length of 3mm, which is the smallest I recommend for cork leather and probably vinyl. You can go up to a stitch length of 4 if you want a more topstitched look. But since this stitching is what's holding everything together I wouldn't go longer than that.

    Great project! Are there acrylic templates available for purchase?

      Thanks. I don't have acrylic templates available. The type of laser I have doesn't cut clear acrylic. I've thought about looking into templates, but wasn't sure of the interest.

    What size thread are you using and topstitch length? Your stitching is great. I like the idea of taking it slow around the corners!

      I use a stitch length of 3, I keep them a little shorter since the stitch isn't just a topstitch but holds the wallet together as well. I think the thread I used in the video was just an all purpose poly. I don't get overly fancy with my thread, but tex 70 is a popular heavier weight if your machine can handle it.

    Not sure if anyone would know but Could this be cut on a cricut?

    • @corkandthread
      @corkandthread  11 місяців тому +1

      Yes, it can! The pattern includes SVG and PNG files for blade or laser cutting options. I've had many people use their Cricut or silhouette cutter to make this pattern.

      Thank you! I am using a Janome HD-3000, it's a heavy-duty machine.

    I purchased your pattern. This is just what I was looking for . However, using the SVG file that came with the pattern, I template B only cuts as a solid square (the cutout for id does not cut). I'm using a Cricut if that makes a difference. All of the other pieces cut just fine. Am I missing something?

      Can you email me? I've had a couple other Cricut users that have had this issue. corkandthreadllc@gmail.com
