They have this fantastic atmosphere for both the Timbers and the Thorns! Truly a soccer city.
Yes it draws about 1/2 what Sounders FC does.
I mean...they don't have any other sports. Can't blame anyone for not wanting to create major sports teams in that cesspool.

The timbers have it all like an old south American or English club ! You wanna have an old stadium in a neighborhood not in the burbs , they have the fans the food the atmosphere!

We have a violent history in our stadiums so gonna take a while to develop the match day experience. We have police everywhere at our football games.

Portland is a sharp club team that had a lot of pieces that would tear u down quick cause they know how to play fast games. u gara be able to play fast game in the next 90 minutes otherwise u gona loose.

@1:20 The light rail station is a "5 mins walk"?! It's literally across the street. Even if you have to wait for the walk signal, it's only about a 3 minute walk from light rail train doors to stadium doors. If the signal is 'walk' when you approach, it's a 1 minute walk.
In the video a few seconds earlier you can see the train going by in the background, and the camera isn't even at the end of the block!
