- hey cherie's, welcome back to another episode of Sitting Down With The Sisters
it’s the start of a new month and we had to start it off with our first guest of the season and we have the lovely Raphael with us! We explore what it means to date with purpose and what dating looks like as a Christian. Should dating as a Christian look different or can it be approached the same way as it is in today’s society? Let us know your thoughts down below!

These are the kinds of podcasts that need to be trending. I’m glad you spoke about the unrealistic expectations some women have, their struggle with truly understanding what they want while pretending they do, and the pressure placed on men. Can we also address that not everyone is called to marriage and that not everyone has the grace for it?
this is such a kind comment. thank you so much 🫶🏾
your last statement is so trueee and definitely needs to be discussed ‼️
“When a man of God comes in front of you, do you know what to do with that” Very important question! & Same goes for us men, but love to see women taking accountability and having such high self awareness. Great video!
We appreciate you 🫶🏾
Recommendations brought me here and im here to stay!! Love how real this conversation is, so refreshing to listen to.
🥹🥹 awww we’re happy to have you! we really appreciate your kind words 🫶🏾

"It has to make sense, but examples are not making sense" (african accent)
😂😂😂. My first time watching this podcast and enjoyed very well. More grace ladies and cheers to many more years of podcasting and reaching out. Very honest, sensible and humourous discussion. ALOT of good points shared and the topic is definitely something many people need to think about generally. In all things, we need to pray, seek the Lord and use wisdom. Well done and keep it coming. Also to the guy, your doing a good job, keep it up. 🤗🤗🤗
😂😂 we appreciate you for taking the time to watch. we’re happy you enjoyed it also. thank you for your kind words and yes you’re right, praying & seeking the Lord is the key 🔑
Such a good discussion, had to comment again, as didn't finish it in one day. Too humourous, yet too honest. Ah beg, mek una bring part 2, 3 and 4. More guests also, to welcome more opinions, even elders. Really, well done peeps. ❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much
It’s when the celibacy topic comes in a lot of Christian men lack sexual discipline it tends to be a dealbreaker for many
Love these talks, enjoyable to listen to y’all’s perspective on things
thank you so much 🫶🏾
Wow! This is a very beautiful one!
I particularly love the last point about having an eternal mindset and approaching marriage from that standpoint.
Well done guys! God bless y’all!
thank you so much 🫶🏾
God bless you too ❤️
So interesting to hear this conversation I am not far in, but felt the need to comment! I am a believer, I was very much in the world when I met my now husband and felt the pressure to live a worldly life because I was only 19. But he knew what he wanted (believer but not practicing) and although I was not looking for a partner at the time, I knew it was going to be him. I was getting serious about my faith and decided to be celibate, and he was very conflicted and it almost broke our relationship, we stuck it out and years later he proposed and we started marriage counselling (very very important) We got married at 24&25 and just celebrated our eight year wedding anniversary.
thank you so much for sharing 🫶🏾
Great great episodeeee! You really spoke on EVERYTHINGGGG and it was good to hear a male perspective at the same time. Ayo summarised it so well at the end.
thank you Gabrielle, we’ve missed seeing your name 🥹🫶🏾 we appreciate you

It’s not just about red flag and walking away
It’s about who they are and how do they face their own shortfall.
The red flag should be based on your approach to life and challenges and how well you work together and how willing each party is to change for the better good of the union and themselves.
Brilliant 👏🏾
thank you 🫶🏾
Wow this was soooo good ❤ God bless you all
God bless you too Zoya, we appreciate you 🫶🏾
I wish the guy spoke more in the podcast about his experience from a first-person bases. I was waiting to hear more point of views on the specific topics being that its a "Feature". It was more of "mm, hmm, ah's" on his end. He had commentary here and there but it was more so everyone else. Great talk.
This is noted- we’ll be mindful of this on our feature episodes moving forward. Thanks for watching

Deeep deep deep🫨
Loved this podcast, for someone in Canada how do you put yourself out there to find you a godly man? It’s tough out here!
😂😂😂 Man said chaiii to Baecation you've been busted
🤣🤣🤣
I have 3 wives, one Nigerian and two Ugandan. It's impossible to have more than one wife if you are not truly a provider. Now I understand why it's so hard for a woman to find a proven man as a husband, which is why it's safer to be a 2nd or 3rd wife. We live in a society of feminine men everywhere!!! Going 50 50 is not masculine at all!!!
💙💙💙🤎🤎🤎
looking forward
