Nah, it’s just that many of the paid content is strong to attract people to buy them. Take the T29 platoon or BMP-1 platoon for example. There are less competitive Russian platoons in the game too, like IS-2 platoon in rank V or T-55A platoon. Typical marketing strategy I’d say.
How would you expect the IS-6 to be balanced? Obviously it can’t be in Rank VIII cuz it’s be bad and Rank VI or it’d be super OP.
@@anormalperson2679 i am not so interested in the idea of balance as the representation of realism. Each country has an idea of how to structure their defenses…. The Russian ideology has been roll over with large numbers of inferior weapons. They learned this in WWII. They also have a bit of Texas in them, “bigger, stronger, powerful but few” in real world their training is lacking, their equipment while advertised to be the same or better is very often subpar and cannot compete. Western Powers (post WWII) have been more defensive minded; take accurate guns with accurate sights and night vision and fight a mobile rolling defense. So in game we get the Russian equipment as theorized not as it truly exists. And from a game perspective, what you say it true too.
If you'd like realism than we're missing the infantry which should be tens of times larger than the enemy's and the tanks, which should be threefold the amount, that's no fun, you see
