Came for the Chenyu Vale thumbnail, stayed for the game content and monetization discussion. Genshin is my first gacha game. I'm not very susceptible to gacha monetization personally. I like it, especially since everyone has their own account very different from others, but I definitely understand many people are susceptible to the issues with gacha. I agree with you completely that Genshin is still top tier. Long term players seem to forget that this level of consistent quality content is actually an amazing feat. Genshin has so much content that I've never felt a drought because I'm still not caught up after over a year of playing the game.

I personally love the idea of F2P AAA games. HSR and WuWa didn't have much that made me want to try them, but Genshin and ZZZ experiences are great.
I'm looking forward to Azure Promilia as well (that seems like a Genshin x Pokemon x Monster Hunter mashup), but I hope it's well balanced and not like how you described WuWa's resource problem.
