“I don’t want to give anyone half my stuff.” Jake had wisdom beyond his years. Frankly, Jake did nothing wrong other than tell Judy’s coven that he doesn’t want to end up like his divorce graped father or marry a narcissistic Karen like his mother.
Her mother was not narcissistic, Charlie was. And Alan lost the divorce because his brother played with his lawyer and as revenge she made a bad case for Alan.
Judith wasn't a narcissist. Narcissists are Evelyn (duh), Charlie and maybe some one else, I'd say Mia because she wanted to change Charlie..but Judith? Nah.
Not to make an excuse for the awful (yet hilarious) bad parenting from Charlie, but who asks a ten year old with a disappointing tone "So you're never gonna get married?"
The difference is Charlie is his uncle, he gave something to Jake to think about... these women are projecting, considering only their idea of marriage like Charlie's arguments are wrong. They're not. Also, Jake pretty much just described his parent's relationship, that’s all.
I got asked plenty. It was worse when someone would say I'd make a good wife because of my looks and when I'd give attitude and say I wasn't getting married they would repeat it with sarcasm. Religious men are the worst
"If you don't mind me saying so" or any variation thereof is always a great way to start to talk to any girl or woman, when it comes to sensitive matters. Jake had a charm that he learned from Charlie
Then he learns he never showed up in court for unpaid parking tickets, so his license was suspended years ago, and he is arrested for driving with a suspended license.
Idk man. A lot of girls would take it as being rude/unnecessary. The golden rule is to basically never talk about their weight under any circumstances! Even when they ask you about it, you gotta deflect, deflect, deflect! Lol
Everybody has this notion that Charlie Sheen was the focus point and some even said it was his show (even Brooke Shields in a blooper reel I saw here) but they keep ignoring the superb acting of Jon Cryer as Alan. And I must admit the writers knew how to get the best out of it... Which totally was gone when they had to try and make it work with Kutcher who was given an impossible task of keeping the same chemistry going... I repeat, with the brother connection gone so went the show...
How have they not given Jon cryer his own show after how much he carried the last few seasons! Without Jon cryer this show is nowhere near as successful!
Yo that lady macing him was terrible lol i understand she felt he couldn't take the hint but Charlie is so use to women being interested in him, he thought she was playing hard to get lol Her daughter was cute though and Jake landed the Diet Coke line🤣
Why would a 17 year old girl leave Jake's room at 7 am? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 They think 12 year old Jake doesn't understand anything about this. Charlie's right. Not everyone is ready to be in college or even 18 to do this. A lot of 12 and 13 year olds are doing it now😂😂😂.
Actually, she made it clear that she wanted him to leave her and her daughter alone. And he refused to do so, while making it clear that he wanted her to leave her child with someone she doesn't know. It's not on her to accommodate Charlie or Jake in that situation, and very easy to see how she might feel threatened by him.
Jake's smartest move, was when he questioned Charlie's ways on dealing with Relationships and Women.... Charlie is the last person You want to listen too...
Judith's said she was unhappy and I think cheating, plus she's crazy manipulative and down right destructive to Alan ever improving his life. She destroyed multiple of his relationships and his second marriage for nothing, but to keep him as unhappy as her
That final clip is of a missed opportunity by the writing team. They should have pursued an arc where Jake becomes a loveable idiot who gets laid a lot. That would have given him both Charlie and Alan's most notable characteristics.
