The trapper comment made me wince. I've only managed two killer games in 2v8, both as trapper, the first one I got outperformed hard by Wraith (my traps helped but still), during the second game my wired connection decided to give me the finger a few minutes into the match... I still feel bad for that huntress! I play trapper because I just genuinely like playing trapper, and I had a daily. If we had all killers available to play I'd play my Unknown. Thank you for the content Farmer, always nice to see your videos.
Billy trapper is surprisingly good. It’s the combo I’ve been using. The issue is survivors heal too fast and chases take too long. Instadowns and random traps are the most time efficient ways to down survivors. Injuring survivors just doesn’t provide enough pressure. Chases just take too long in 2v8
warning to anyone playing slinger in 2v8, if you have someone speared, and someone else gets injured by the other killer, then the person you have speared gets released, hoping this fix this bug soon
Trapper isn't great on his own, but he's an amazing support in 2v8. Being able to lock down an area while the other killer pressures the survivors ensures that he can get his area set up and make a safe area for the survivors unsafe. It's incredibly fun when communicating with your killer friend. Wraith-trapper is the pair I've been running with a friend and it works out fairly well, mainly due to the built-in buffs Wraith gets. He's nutty fast while invisible.
When you said both your teammates in this video were Trappers, I thought 'Did I actually play with THE Farmer John? The first major DbD content creator I followed?' Then I saw their cosmetics and realized nope, that was not me.
I’m not sure why they allowed insta downs with him as he feels very strong, especially when you can have situations like 1:05 where you find a lot of survivors together and you are undetectable 😂.
Basekit unbreakable exists in 2v8 now in the form of the ultimates you get with your class- you can use your ultimate perk to get up off the ground instead of it's typical use. It's no longer a big pain point for survivor in this mode
- I started full time streaming, so time for highly edited videos became a LOT less. - MMR drastically reduced variety and increased stressed in the majority of DBD matches, making most of them feel the same and thus the matches felt dull for the "fun" types of videos. While before MMR I could record 2-3 matches and feel quite satisfied with a meme build video, I'd have to record 6-7 at this point with a meme build to just be "okay" with the results. - Editing those videos took so long that I became burnt out on them heavily, and had a lot less fun making them - TIme is against me here, and ANYTHING I upload there is most likely not going to reach most sub boxes, so most aren't going to see it anyway All this to say, it doesn't mean there's never gonna be main channel videos again. On the contrary, I've been cooking up ideas in my head for a while now, and projects I started on but never got quite finished. Despite my enjoyment of the streaming side of content creation that I found in the last 5 years, I still love making videos as well and putting together projects. I just don't wanna put out a video just because I feel obligated to- I want to make one because I think it's gonna be a good video, and I have fun making it and think you guys will have fun watching it. I'm not gonna promise anything, but I do have an idea of what to make next and I have a timeline set for how I want to do it. IF that comes together like I want it to in my head (which is very much a coin flip) then you might see that channel light up again soon. I recognize the position I'm in is a very lucky one for people to be looking forward to another video and sad that there hasn't been one for years at this point. Believe me, if I had a superpower I could choose, it'd be to not have to sleep so I'd have more time for... well, everything, including making more videos and more freetime to explore other ideas.
@NotFarmerJohn man its all good its just nice hearing you again you helped me throuh alot and you don't know that i just hope that you don't delete the old videos that thick brick jane video is a classic😅😅 i watch the old ones every day🌹

I think they should've kept killer specific team skills
@@Void_sauceyeah, all the skills suck for Billy. I think his old load out was better.
Man I love playing shadow billy in this mode because the feeling of just chewing through survivors is pure bliss

Just got fixed today actually.
@saiyanleone2440 oh nice
Who would be so heinous as to purposely pick deathslinger and do that to anyone

uncloak is too fast tho I hope they fix it soon
I personally love blight in this mode, and a billy/blight wombo combo is pretty brutal I found. Two fast boys are just constant map pressure.
Any form of insta down (not including 2 taps) in 2v8 just seems insanely broken.
You haven't seen a mass heal or mass gen progress. Survivors are OP now
Billy with fearmonger is scary
I Wish i could still play as Hillbilly... now when i turn, it turns like ULTRA Fast, so i bump into literally everything.
I think the stomping to hook was better

All those delicious chainsaw hits!

whats goin onnnnnnn
He's also the most painful killer to vs
1:10 Proof of fing concept
most of the Billys slug after it gets to 4 gens
Its almost like hooking is a bad play after downing one guy and seeing multiple others nearby, who knew?
