Living Well in Retirement on $1500 Monthly in Medellin Colombia

Just finished my first month living in Medellin, Colombia as a retired nomad. Things are going well and I am enjoying life. In this video, I discuss my monthly budget with a friend who is visiting and get his reaction. Rent, food, transport, and going out in Medellin.

Nice apartment for sure especially for that price and includes everything. What visa will you apply for if your staying long term in Colombia. It seems like the long term visas are complicated because they only give it for a year and each and every year you need to travel back to the USA to start all the visa process all over again with updates translated documents.

You get three months visa free and you can extend for another 3 months but there is a limit of 6 months for the calendar year. I am happy to stay for three months on this visit and move on to another country to explore!
