WHAT?! $174 is chump change for something as insane as those pearls! When you said way more expensive I thought it was going to be $500 or $1000...
One gallon of ppg clear coat is like 600-700$ 174 is chump change

I had been opposed to dip for a long time. But after seeing this video and realized the evolution of the product to be nearly paint-like I have changed my opinion. It has come such a long way. Keep up the amazing work.

I wrap cars for a living and I'm impressed with the overall gloss finish. I'd like to see a gloss black finish up close, and preferably when it's not raining. :)
It shits all over any wrap..given that it can be cut and buffed like a regular paint job

What id love to have is a metallic dark green with a red, orange, and yellow tint in the sun. Or just a metallic dark green with a red tint in the sun. Or like a wine red with a green tint.
Another cool color id love to have is a graphite color but its more like grey and brown mixed, id love to have a fluorescent blue tint to that.
How gorgeous. The whole car looks like a Japanese beetle! I definitely prefer gloss to matte or satin.

25 grams cost $173.75 for all those lazy to go search. $347.50 for 50 grams before shipping and handling. spray wrap pro gallons are at $82 a piece on pre-order. Just might do this color on a car once the shop I worked at re-opens!!!!

looks awesome. but i see this color alot. have you tried making you own shifting color theme? like say if the customer wants a blue, red and black? or yellow, blue, grey? etc.. would be handy to be able to create to the customers needs.

Fonzi: I have one question...sense you didn't use a paint booth, when using this pro level product, when you where finish painting and after the car dry out, did you do any sanding down or buffing to get the finish you show on the video? By the way that color is bananas!

+DipYourCar Not to sound like a stickler but you guys should really try to spray in a booth with some type of ventilation along with some paint suits, the aerosols from the overspray get absorbed into your exposed skin and arn't good for your body.
Otherwise your videos are fantastic! Great results

so autoflex is a completely different brand from performix? and i noticed you were spraying with a different gun and using a compressor to pressure the line. what psi are you spraying at? it comes out super fine like a mist. you guys were suited up!

OK so here's my question I have a car that's a little older and has paint peeling a bit does that affect anything this might sound like a stupid question but I gotta ask
I've just painted my Chrysler Sebring with factory coded paint for 1/4 the price of Plastidip $120.00 including Clearcoat as opposed to 4 gallons of plastipdip at 86.00 per gallon (not including clear). And the paint lasts for 20 years. Granted that Plastidip has its uses (on tools) but where is the advantage of this. Can someone explain please.
