Well, tbf, the problem with KH3 wasn't entirely the disney world, it was the fact they were used to filler the story. Some events could have easely happened before the end of the game and played a major part of the search in the disney world to make them less filler felt. Imagine Aqua turning Evil, being an antagonist through the game. Sora having to use the power of waking to saved her. It would have add a sense of urgency into the game, replacing the useless cameos of organization thirteen through the disney world by someone that has already visited them and that could grow resentment or be changed by what she see in those worlds. + Riku and Mickey could be with faking Sora for once instead of being stuck for the whole game in the world of Darkness having 0 impact on the story during those moments whatsoever.
The Disney worlds contribute as well in KH3. Olympus: Sora learns from Hercules that finding his own strength will require him having something or someone to fight for with all his heart. Sora repeats this mantra four more times throughout the course of his journey. And as more people like Xigbar & Pete try to get under Sora’s skin, Hercules ensures Sora that he’ll be able to prove to everyone that his sacrifices won’t be for nothing. Toy Box: Young Xehanort is sent to conduct an experiment in Toy Box regarding the connection of hearts. Using Buzz & Woody, Young Xehanort was able to stretch the limits of the toy’s friendship and trust in order to turn the toys into pawns of the darkness. Through his observations, Young Xehanort learns that a strong heart filed with a vast amount of darkness can be placed within any sort of vessel the Organization desires, including an empty puppet, held together by just mere cloth & plastic. The results of these experiments with the various vessels found in Galaxy Toys contribute to the direct revival of Xion. Sora also exhibits strong leadership/competence overall throughout the duration of this world. He also demonstrates how strong of a grasp he has on what Young Xehanort has done to the world from his experience in the Sleeping Realm. Kingdom Of Corona: To ensure that there will be seven hearts of light available to forge the Keyblade during the final clash, Marluxia is sent to this world to locate a new potential heart of pure light. Here he discovers Rapunzel, who must remain protected & preserved for the Organization in case the Guardians fail to assemble. When Rapunzel leaves the safety of her tower, Marluxia allows Sora to use the Keyblade to protect her from the Heartless. But because of Mother Gothel’s capability of keeping Rapunzel away from outside forces, Marluxia assists her in returning Rapunzel to the tower. He accomplishes this by framing Eugene “betraying” Rapunzel for running off with the crown & by also staging an encounter with Gothel vanquishing a pair of Nobodies with a branch (a red flag given that Nobodies can’t be defeated by basic objects) to “save” Rapunzel. Mother Gothel, however, loses control of Rapunzel and succumbs to her own darkness, which makes her presence as Rapunzel’s guardian no longer ideal for maintaining Rapunzel’s pure light for the Organization. Marluxia has Mother Gothel transformed into a Heartless for Sora to permanently vanquish with the Keyblade in an effort to protect Rapunzel until the Organization may need her. Sora also witnesses an act of true love between Rapunzel & Eugene that was strong enough to keep him from fading away; a crucial clue Sora will need for regaining his lost strength. The Guardians learn that the Organization is considering using the New Seven Hearts, which includes Kairi, as another option towards forging the X-Blade if the Guardians don’t assemble in time. Monstropolis: Vanitas, in addition to pursuing Ventus’s heart, is also seeking negative emotion to reconstruct his damaged heart before he is able to adequately serve the XIII Seekers of Darkness. Vanitas travels to the Laughter Factory of Monstropolis, which is a world that was previously powered by the screams of human children converted into negative energy. Thanks to encountering Vanitas at Monstropolis & despite being hesitant of his claims, the Guardians finally learn where Ventus’s heart is located after over a decade of searching & how his heart was connected to Sora’s in the first place. This theory is corroborated by the Ansem the Wise data hidden inside of Sora after being decoded by Ienzo. Arendelle: To ensure that there will be seven hearts of light available to forge the Keyblade during the final clash, Larxene is sent to this world to locate a new potential heart of pure light. Here, Larxene encounters Elsa & vows not to hurt her. However, Elsa has also been exhibiting dark tendencies with the use of her magic. Because it’s too early to call whether Elsa will accept light or darkness & because of Elsa not fully accepting what the nature of her power will be, Larxene observes the Queen of Arendelle from the shadows and prevents Sora from making a decision for Elsa so that she can figure out how to set her heart free her own way. After Elsa accepts her power as a source of light in her heart, with help from the love of her sister Anna, Larxene concludes that two of the Seven New Hearts are located in this world. Before returning to the Keyblade Graveyard, Larxene leaves Sora with this ultimatum: failure to assemble the seven guardians of light will result in the Organization targeting the likes of Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel & Kairi, individuals who have no direct involvement with the conflict at hand. To cause further panic, Larxene informs Sora that all XIII Darknesses have been assembled and are ready to initiate the war despite Vexen still working on completing the final two replicas for the Organization. With Larxene’s revelation that the Seekers allegedly have all XIII members, the Guardians now have very little time to prepare their seven for the final battle. At this point the Guardians only have 2 of their 7 members (Riku & Mickey) prepared & ready as Sora still hasn’t regained all of his power, Kairi & Axel are still in training and Aqua & Ventus are still out of commission. And with Rapunzel, Elsa & Anna at risk, the Guardians must journey to the fated place as soon as their last two missing members are recovered. This small amount of time leads to lack of preparation for the threats they will face on the Guardian’s part which will eventually lead to their first initial downfall against Terranort & the Demon Tornado in the Keyblade Graveyard and in turn, Sora’s arrival to the Final World. Sora also witnesses an act of true love between Anna & Elsa that was so powerful, it was able to thaw a frozen heart, which deepens his understanding of the kind of strength he needed to save the ones he cared about. The Caribbean: Luxord is given the order from the higher ups of the Organization to locate the Black Box and seize it. This is supposedly a very important task for the Seekers as the box contains “hope”, the first ever direct clue for both Sora & the player towards the actual contents of the Black Box. Meanwhile Vexen, who is still developing his new batch of replicas as part of the ongoing Replica Program, learns about the chest of Davy Jones, which could potentially be the Black Box that the Organization is searching for. The box contains a secret that allows a creature who lacks a heart the ability to still exist, which is a feat that not even his own replicas are able to achieve. Vexen allows Luxord to keep Sora at bay so that he can continue his research on Davy Jones without interruption. Sora also, for the very first time, witnesses the brutal, unceremonial execution of someone he considers a friend, which sparks a highly emotional & visceral reaction. While Will is not permanently gone, the price of defying his destiny is incredibly steep & consequential. After learning the fate of the betrothed Will & Elizabeth, Sora initially believes that one day isn’t enough time to be with someone who’s destiny is intertwined with your own. Thanks to Jack, Sora is assured that no matter what could potentially happen to him, there’s always enough time for hearts between loved ones to connect and say what’s true, giving him the courage to peruse reviving his lost friends in spite of the guardian’s dwindling time to reunite. San Fransokyo: After the success of Vexen’s Replica Program, Riku is sent to San Fransokyo to see if the Organization can recreate a heart from data, an idea that was somewhat influenced by Sora & Ienzo’s mission to reconstruct Roxas’s heart using data from the Virtual Twilight Town. In this world, in order to conduct this experiment, Riku accesses a portal leading to a mysterious void & retrieves both Baymax 1.0 & the robot’s “heart”. Dark Riku uses this chip to create a Heartless to collect the data he needed to construct the type of heart the Organization was after. After unleashing the Heartless onto the city, Riku is able to use the chip to construct a data heart of darkness made from conflict. Although Riku was doubtful that a being without a conventional heart like Baymax can turn an object into a real heart, thanks to Sora’s contributions, the chip also contains “hope” that will soon become a real, complete heart. The final pieces of the heart missing are elements of sadness & loss. To complete this task, Riku summons a dark portal, connects the Darkubes’s data to an empty vessel, and places the combat chip inside of Baymax 1.0 to attack Hiro, be destroyed by Sora & finish the data heart reconstruction experiment, which results in the revival of Xion. Winnie-The-Pooh: During his visit to this world, Sora shows signs that his more mature recent experiences has caused him to outgrow the child-like innocence of this world and appears to be going through the motions of helping his childhood friends. When assuring Pooh that he’ll still always be in his heart, he begins to express doubt internally & admits that his connection to Pooh has indeed become weaker. This troubles Sora as losing any of his friends is a major fear of his, but Merlin assures him that by using his heart to find a new path to his friend’s heart, he’ll always find a way to recover whatever it is that was lost.
I doubt Disney worlds are getting removed. Sometimes they play their part to the story as Regular Pat confirmed when he reviewed every world in one ranking to prove us wrong. But since this is Quadratum, there might be worlds in relation to other properties Disney owns like Marvel or Star Wars, and possibly Square Enix worlds, but that's just my speculation. Same goes with fans believing that the horrible incident in October of 2022 was FFXIV servers getting infested with hackers.
Honestly I wouldn't mind them shifting to Square Enix worlds and cut disney out of it. At least the worlds. I think the characters are too important though. At least the original three.
Plus, kingdom hearts is a joint property of disney and squareenix. Why would disney ever give up a profitable franchise ip? Plus, the disney aspect has always been 90 percent of the game series. I believe even numera said the final fantasy aspects were only meant to give the game a foot up with their popularity. Not to mention Donald, Goofy, Hades, and possibly Star Wars all being confirmed for KH 4 as well as sours kingdom key with the ever-present hidden mickey on it
My favorite flavor of grocery/convenience store onigri is spicy tuna from this one grocery store in Little Tokyp. The spicy tuna _flake_ flavor from this other grocery store over there isn't as good though but there's a restraint by it with different flavors of onigiri I haven't tried yet.
I really hope this doesn't happen, and this would be the worst possible outcome imo, but I can think of one interpretation that will bring infinite darkness to smother every speck of light in all the realms... KINGDOM HEARTS NTFS
Mr not Just A Pancake sir. Do you know if Just a Pancake was sent to the darkness within darkness? He hasn't had a video in a while and want to find a new number 1 hard hitting source of kingdom hearts news. This seems like a good channel, but I would never want to abandon him
If you're just here for Final Fantasy, there are like fifteen games and plenty of spin-offs, and a remake of an overrated game that will satisfy your needs.
I can't imagine the series dropping Disney. The series was created as a crossover between Square IPs and Disney. KH3 just had issues justifying why Sora needed to go to the Disney worlds. It being completely about Sora finding the Power of Waking was weak and the Disney worlds didn't give any direct help toward that goal. The driving motivation should have evolved around the mid-point: maybe have Yen Sid explain to the party why the Princesses of Heart changed and how Xehanort could still use them instead of just having Marluxia give a 5 second explanation of it in Corona. Then it could have Sora put his quest for the PoW on hold and focus on protecting the new princesses from Organization XIII, who should have taken measures to kidnap them instead of awkwardly "safeguarding" them in their own worlds. It could have allowed for some mid-game fights with Organization members, where the fights end up with them retreating because Sora is too weak and/or they don't want to be taken out before the war. I have hope with KH4. Since the Dark Seeker saga is done, the story might start with the stakes lowered. This could make make it more appropriate for Sora to wander around Star Wars and other Disney worlds, looking for a way back home until he's up against whatever MoM and Luxu are doing.
The thing we dont mind disney worlds but we dont want the strickness that happened in kh3 where each world had to follow the movie by the beat. Reason why we end up loving pixar worlds in kh3 cause not telling us exact same stroy that we have heard or seen.
Last year's October? that's the release of KINGDOM HEARTS Dark Road, which had less Disney! I'm happy about that. Good thing that the future KINGDOM HEARTS games are going to be more mature and have fewer Disney and childish cartoons. Well, except for Mickey Mouse Characters because KINGDOM HEARTS games need a little Disney, and these guys are Disney's key faces.
2:25 Nothing but facts. What frustrates me the most is the fact that these fake KH fans think Disney will be removed when we already know that KH is Disney. Get rid of that, you get rid of KH's identity. I don't know what you were expecting when you guys step into this franchise.
Cannot wait for KH to get ruined by Marvel and Star Wars I can see Star Wars working as long as it stays within George Lucas story but who knows Hope they stay within Disney/Pixar territory

Because Kingdom Hearts is a Disney series. You’re always going to have that inclusion as it’s a fundamental core part. Final fantasy characters were only used as a support for the original cast. We have outgrow their need.
@@dexholderred2469 Yeah the Disney worlds are fine and all, but look at how many times we have explored the same places, sure they got expanded in KH3 but Olympus Coloseum still is Olympus Coloseum (as amazing as it was). It would be awesome to see Sora and Cloud in actual Midgar for once, and since KH4 is going for a more "realistic" touch i can see it happening. And would be kinda of an apology for the lack of FF reps in KH3 too. I mean Kingdom Hearts would not be what is today without the FF characters even if they were just support, a lot of people went for the game for those characters, so even as a support cast they still are a part of the KH lore just like the other Disney randoms.
@@RTheu2109 An apology for the lack of FF characters in KH3? First off, KH3 is not the first KH game where the FF characters were absent. Second, you make it sound like it's a crime for those cameos to not appear when KH is a Disney game. As the first reply said, it's a fundamental core and the FF characters were only used as support. If anything, they were nothing but fanservice. Even Nomura said they were nothing but guidance in the first game. While yes, FF were brought in here to boost the sales, but they didn't do much beyond kh2. They outlived their purposes and the KH series can grow without using them as crutches.
@@Redxan600 i kinda is when Disney, and more importantly Kingdom Hearts is about friendship and connections. Sora met those characters, he helped them as they helped him, sure they didn't appear in some "*spinoff*" games, but that didn't excluded square's reps, like The World Ends With You in KH3D. As Fan service as they are, they're still an small but important part of the plot. So seeing them being left out just because of a technicality just doesn't seem fair to the Square side of things. Like, it's obvious that pretty much every Disney world, in KH3 especially, is just pure fan service as well, since they contribute next to nothing to the main plot. At least FF characters had a subplot integrated with the main one and they felt as part of the Kingdom Hearts world, and not just as a rehearsal of their games. And again, Kingdom Hearts started as the idea of combining FF and Disney characters in the same scenario. The whole idea is just a fan service in itself,.
@@RTheu2109 So many misconceptions in that comment. FF were really not important at all. What did they do in BBS? What do they do in Coded? And a subplot? It added nothing to the main plot at all. And KH didn't start off as Disney x FF. It started off as Disney x Square. It even said so in the beta trailer. In fact, FF weren't originally going to be in KH. There were supposed to be other Square properties like Parasite Eve. And you still have the Disney x FF stuff like the magic, items, and summons. And with the Disney worlds, especially in KH3, plays a major part in not only the story, but for the characters as well. Watch Regular Pat's video about Disney worlds being relevant to the story.
I sure hope the next mainline KH goes more Square Enix and MUCH LESS Disney. Not that Square Enix is very intelligible anymore but still leagues more palatable than Disney.
It is hated way too much. So much so that KH fans are still being attacked on Twitter for even mildly praising the game. It's out of control and it's living on these haters head rent free for four years already.
@@Redxan600 twitter is not a place for measured and thought out discourse, no online platform is. KH3 does have fun moments but it far and away does not live up to the buildup and hype for it. They had 6 games of buildup and what we got was ultimately a wet fart. Good graphics and great music can only go so far…
Getting Disney out of Kingdom Hearts would be great. Modern Disney hates itself and everything that came before it, and that probably includes Kingdom Hearts. But what would be a good replacement? Could Square cut a deal with Warner Brothers and have Sora go to Middle Earth or The Matrix?
Also, I would say that statement about disney is an over exaggeration these last few years have been only another business venture, just not a very popular one simpler to 70s-80s were they were trying to get into the more adult oriented films that almost did shut down the company then they got better then they begain experimenting with new animation stiles in the early 2000s which was also known for some of there least successful films then since 2009 they begain improving again but then begain experimenting with ips it was successful with the mcu so them they dipped there hands in star wars with many misses but a few hits with the series ie mandalorian, fox who seem to be a safe bet so far with decent films, pixar who are still making more often then not, the remakes trying to reach modern audiences though not doing a very good job of it though I have hopes for the haunted mansion film blush there film encanto I belive last year was very much in the classic disney feel and the getting into politics but more then likely will be for the short term there current line up after the films already in motion look to be going more to form with wish, elemental, elio and haunted mansion its begining to look up but then in maybe a decade if that it will be another bad erra rinse and repeat
@𝕊𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕙♡︎ maybe but doubtful since it so far is one of there most stable sources of income with so far non of the controversy they are currently dealing with. Plus with all the franchises tied into it there's not really any way to sell it unless there going to loan put the majority of there film library with it even the default keyplade has the mickey key chain on it. They would have to begain from the ground up if that were to happen which sorta defeats the purpose of buying an ip
@𝕊𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕙♡︎ that is true I just gave it as an example of how closely entigrated kingdom hearts is with its other disney franchises not to mention how disney is with ip minus Miramar due to controversy and did entertainment because it wasent very profitable. End result is Kingdom Hearts is disney and will stay disney though I wouldent mind a well made alternate version made from Warner brothers. But very unlikely
@𝕊𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕙♡︎ plus kingdom hearts is latterly 69 percent disney, 19 pixar, 1 touchstone, 6 percent ocs owned by disney and three percent ff cameos that are being phased out it seems, 1 percent world ends with you cameos and 1 percent the owners of rights of tarzan I forget the family's name
If it comes from one of the people who... - Won't shut up about this four year old game - Had their expectations way too high - Mad salty that it doesn't play like kh2 -Salty that no FF were in there And plenty of other reasons. So, no. The hate is not justified. It just comes from those I listed out.
I want less Disney in kingdom hearts. I'm a grown up and I grew up with this game I want it to grow up with me. NO MORE DISNEY they over stayed their welcome

But...KH3 is the game where the disney worlds are used more than most of the other games. What? If anything its KH1 and 2 where they are filler.
@@Mechazoid5116 have you ever played kh1?
@@GianniLeonhart yeah years ago
no world was filler. each worlds story is on theme with the message of being able to save those we think we've lost.

Not to mention Donald, Goofy, Hades, and possibly Star Wars all being confirmed for KH 4 as well as sours kingdom key with the ever-present hidden mickey on it
Contrary to what Square fans think. Disney owns Kingdom Hearts. He's always going to be their property.

Once again going crazy over what Nomura could have meant.
Power of Nothingness is an actual thing in Street Fighter, so it took me a bit to realize that you were talking about the Power of Waking.
Nomura has 3 son's, right? Cloud, Noctics and Sora. Oh boy even their name is almost similar.

Nomura wanted to reveal, that Trueblade Seeker is actually Just a Pancake's nobody
Just bring back the fucking Final Fantasy character cameos and boss fights and we're good Nomura.
We all know a new mobile game with Canon stories will be revealed next.

Nomura buying time for delaying KH4
I mean, since we had more disney representation than FF in KH3, why not do the inverse with KH4, give us some of Ivalice and Gaia to walk around too
Because Kingdom Hearts is a Disney series.

MuchO TextO.
I sure hope the next mainline KH goes more Square Enix and MUCH LESS Disney. Not that Square Enix is very intelligible anymore but still leagues more palatable than Disney.
Way too much? Nah it's hated the right amount.
LESS DISNEY
Lmao ~
Lol
And people wonder why i decided to stop buying the games after KH3, this series is going nowhere.
Youll forget about it in 11 years when KH4 finally drops
Getting Disney out of Kingdom Hearts would be great. Modern Disney hates itself and everything that came before it, and that probably includes Kingdom Hearts. But what would be a good replacement? Could Square cut a deal with Warner Brothers and have Sora go to Middle Earth or The Matrix?
Hmm, that would be an interesting idea, but it's not possible since Disney owns the rights to kingdom hearts, so no disney, no kingdom hearts.
Nah, the KH3 hate is justified
If it comes from one of the people who...
- Won't shut up about this four year old game
- Had their expectations way too high
- Mad salty that it doesn't play like kh2
-Salty that no FF were in there
And plenty of other reasons.
So, no. The hate is not justified. It just comes from those I listed out.

I want less Disney in kingdom hearts. I'm a grown up and I grew up with this game I want it to grow up with me. NO MORE DISNEY they over stayed their welcome
Disney literally owns KH. It's a collab between them them and Squeenix but they own most of it. It's more likely to die than lose Disney characters.
