I’m getting ready to go on my first back-to-back. But I’m actually doing a B2B2B and I’m so excited. Thank you for making this video. I was curious how this all worked. My anxiety level went down after watching your video. Thanks again!
We have never done a Back to back cruise. I think I would really like that. We usually do 7 to 14 days cruises though. I would need a month off work! lol
On my last cruise, we only had to Muster on the first leg. Apparently you only have to muster, on the same cruise, every 4 weeks. (or something like that)
Did you do a Carnival cruise? We did a back to back recently with them and they said we didn’t have to do the muster but they did have scan our card I guess saying we were good.
@@tpstravels I usually cruise Princess, but on back to backs, you don't have to do the drill except on the first leg, unless they have changed the rules.
@@cruisecrazy7066 Good to know, thanks! I did a lot of back-to-backs on Carnival last year and I always had to go even if it was to scan my card. So, maybe all cruise lines are different then. Thanks!
I have never been on a cruise, I’d really like to do one, I’m saving up as hard as I can, but being in Western Australia I don’t have many choices departing Fremantle 😢
Yea I looked it up and most cruises come out of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The cheapest I could find was $1900 per person out of Sydney in 2026 on Norwegian.
If you are on a princess cruise ship doing a B2B, is it classed as 2 cruises for the loyalty medallion. Gold , Ruby, platinum then elite. We are platinum customers with princess and want to get to elite ASAP would doing B2B work in our favour 😀
Hi, yes it should count toward you loyalty program if your back-to-back cruises are booked as separate cruises with separate booking numbers. Check with your cruise line when booking just to be sure, but I know other cruise lines will count this as two separate cruises going toward your loyalty points.
Oh yes! I forgot about that. You can get off one ship and jump on another that day at that same cruise port and that is a back-to-back cruise. Or you could do a repositioning cruise. You can jump on at one cruise port and take the ship to another cruise port and then get on another cruise from the new cruise port. Any of these options are also considered back-to-back, but you go through the same process of customs, carrying your luggage to the terminal just as you would on your first sailing. It's essentially two sailings but you are just going one right after the other. I've done this several time. Thanks for mentioning that.

@@Harleysolovely Absolutely! It’s easy process and so much fun knowing you get to stay on the ship. Enjoy your cruise!
Back to back is cool but this darn job gets in the way!! Lottery sounding better everyday!!
haha I get it.
Back-to-back cruising is the best! Have you been on one?

@@ilenadavis350 LOL I get it! Those 14 day cruises are nice though.
Doing my first b2b in September can’t wait
Yay!! You will love it! Enjoy your cruise.
Very good information
Thank you, I hope it was helpful

Thanks for this video. Very informative! 😊
You are welcome. I am glad you liked it.
I'm doing 3 back to backs in January. The first week my husband's mom is coming. The second my mom is coming. The last week we will be alone.
Oh, that sounds great! Enjoy :)

How about a side by side?
