Great location as usual.I wonder how did the 4x4 vehicles manage to get up to your location.😂Fiat should sponsor your vehicle as it’s some ad for them.👍🏼
Such a beautiful area. Of course everything is messing up at the same time…I know how much of a pain that can be. Hopefully after they are fixed that’s will be the end of fixers for a while. 👍🏼
Fiat began to show its true character. 😉 After all, it is already "old" and in heavy use, so the old "horse" is already starting to cough a little for less. Hopefully, things will be fixed, and more will not start to spread. I myself would have a lot of spare parts with me, things that are easy to replace myself and things that wear out easily, etc. What kind of spare parts do you have?
@@Vantasticvan What if a relatively easily replaceable part of the car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and prevents the car from moving, do you call a tow truck, or does a local come and tow it away in some kind of machinery?
In France local helped us when diesel filter got broken, we made temp fix with a bolt and off we went. If anything bigger then we just take the tow truck. There hasnt been much broken parts and wearing parts we change before they fail or are about to be failing.
One bad thing seldom come alone 🤢 Hope your solutions dont get way too expensive ! Good thing you can stay long on a place and not spend so much. Your view now is stunning ! We have had some days with 38C...🥵 too hot ! You take care and enjoy your nice camping spot 🥰🥰
It can be overwhelming when things pile up. But yes, every house needs maitenance. The views are truly stunning here. Thanks for your comment and stay cool!
No filter and we have used over 1000 litres of LPG already. Never been a problem and we are cleaning the chimney and burner with same interval as with bottled gas. We are trying to fill the LPG from bigger cities and not from small carages to minimize the possibility to get dirty lpg.
We are planning to keep our camper until it is too expensive to fix. If the motor gets broken, we buy a new (used) motor etc. Dream would be to keep the same for the next ten years. Lets see if that happens. Our next van will propably be just self build because factory made camper prices have skyrocked!
We did rent out our plot to cover this year's property tax, waste management bills and road payments. It is very primitive land without services, so we cannot ask too much money from it.
@@Vantasticvan Thanks. I suppose I could have googled that myself. I didn't know if there was a particular monte negro or if the term was a general reference to the dark appearance of mountains in shadow.
The elevation issues make sense. I will DEFINITELY be mindful. Have you two thought about hosting a van life meet up? I would drop everything and show up with German Bier and Cheeeaaap Wein!! I hope you guys get things sorted with you van soon. There is no European Van Life without Vantastic. 🫡🚚
Thanks for cheering us up. Everything will get sorted out for sure. Good German beer and cheeeeep wine sounds perfect! We have hosted a few vanlife meet ups (mainly for Finns) it is always great to meet similar minded people and share campfire stories!
The memories you make on your travels are worth more than money. All the best for van maintenance 😊
So well said and we agree. Thanks for your support.
Great 👍

Kiitos videoista! Tässä meidän kanavan pieni tuki Teille uuden Dronen hankintaan 😄
Suurkiitos! Toivittavasti saadaan lennokki taas pian ilmaan!

Thanks for you coment 😄 Fiat is a great vehicle foe sure, and we would not say no to the sponsorship 😆😁
In terms of the hailstorm, absolutely need insurance! I had $3000 worth of damage because of hail and fortunately the insurance covered it
Sounds so scary! Hails can be mean and big. Fortunately your insurance did cover the damages.

Thanks so much. It just sucks when everything piles up and then you just fear what is breaking next

Zero spareparts, we have insurance which will drive us to nearest carage getting things fixed. We dont have payload to haul spareparts.

Hi ! Do you have gass filter in your system? Dirty LPG can give problem i n burners, refill gass can be oily and dirty. Tip from motorhome ovner.

Hi Guys :) How much longer do you think you’ll keep your camper-van until you have to trade it in? Do you have a budget set aside for this?
We are planning to keep our camper until it is too expensive to fix. If the motor gets broken, we buy a new (used) motor etc. Dream would be to keep the same for the next ten years. Lets see if that happens. Our next van will propably be just self build because factory made camper prices have skyrocked!
Are you able to make passive income from your plot back in Finland? Like Airbnb style?
We did rent out our plot to cover this year's property tax, waste management bills and road payments. It is very primitive land without services, so we cannot ask too much money from it.
I really would not mind to watch some adds, so that you can buy some stuff and repair the van.
😄👍🌹
Which one is the monte negro?
Mount Lovcen is the black mountain, it is near the coast
@@Vantasticvan Thanks. I suppose I could have googled that myself. I didn't know if there was a particular monte negro or if the term was a general reference to the dark appearance of mountains in shadow.
No problem, we actually googled it ourself just while ago when we pondered the same thing.
