Aww thanks guys. Still thinking about that trip. Also had so much fun dropping in on you guys at TT Rally. Looking forward to the next series of vids. Idaho BDR very interested. Would be cool to hit it during fall colors. And Baja for sure. Ahhhhh so many trips and seemingly not enough time!!!
As discussed on FB, I feel a bit guilty for having to drop out of the IDBDR at the last minute, but maybe a bit less hearing there was stuff going on behind the scenes. After seeing some footage and doing some research it is the type of trip that I would really enjoy I think. I want to come on the next one, I can help with the planning if need be, more notice would definitely be helpful. I am also interested in a Baja appearance, I'm thinking a ride-in trip so I can bring a smaller bike? We can definitely discuss elsewhere. Thanks for the updates, looking forward to the Dirt Chimps series!
Can’t wait for the Get Lost, Find Your Self video to drop! 😬 Also 10 bikes in the bus?! Sorry to hear about the Idaho trip falling through this year, lots going on. I am very interested in joining you guys for some riding in Baja this winter. Surprisingly I’m also game for the camp out and social event haha!
In a perfect world, I would still like to do a five-day self-organized Baja Bootcamp to practice in deep sand and whoops in the San Felipe area. I want to run the big dune, the Canyon, and a section of the race track each day, as some of us need the time in the sand. The ideal would be to do a hard workout until three, then with a cold one in hand, and then debate who is the best BBQ cook. Chris is in, and I might have a new Baja Victoria rider looking to join us in March. I am going to assume many riders should take the time to learn to ride in Baja, even if it is just a few days before a tour. Not that I did not have a blast figuring it out on our tour. And I noticed we got a lot better at the end of the tour, which makes sense, as we all get good at what we practice. I also want to have at least 4 weeks off for Baja. Four days each way to drive there and back and the rest to play in the Sand. Idaho sounds interesting as well. Val was thrilled to show me the map... "You need this!!" :) Oh, and one more thing, as the pilot tour group, I can recommend Scott and Steph & Chuck as Baja Tour Guides 100%. If you are on the fence, new to Baja and unsure, "Just do it!" they will take very good care of you.
You two are the best. Thank you for the riding offer at GLFY and I just needed a personal day. Thanks Scott.
Any time!
