Looks great! I've been looking forward to seeing what customizers would do to him. What you did makes him look exactly as I think he should look. More than likely the eventual retro carded figure will look very similar to this. Great job!
You were right, man. He looks way better without the hanging cloth. I might have to change my mind on him, at some point. I'm also wondering how those v1 head and hood look, if you were to add the gray stripes to them and use those instead.
Thanks, that's exactly the mod I wanted to see, and will be doing the same. If the paint will stick, I want to paint the arrow feathers and the claw handles red as well, like one of the other versions of v2 Storm Shadow.
Great mods. Looks much better. Question, did you consider doing anything to his hood? To me, it looks like it is pulled too tight. I heard it is glued to his head so it can’t be easily swapped.
Great update! I think what I’m tripping out the most on, is how you cut so precisely around the rope and left that intact? I feel like I would wind up messing that up and having to just cut that whole piece off lol. Did you remove the legs to do that part or did you leave them on when you cut that part of the skirt off?
At least the swords that came with this version are actually katana. Instead of those bogus straight swords. I’m gonna have to try and do what you did and cut that stuff off.
Beautiful custom!! This has always been my favorite version even though version 1 was my first! I wish Hasbro would have made him this way!! I’m sure I’ll still buy it and pray they release him on the retro card more like the original 1988 version!!
Huge improvement! I can't get past the Kenny looking hood, so I made my own custom V2 to get me by.
Great job on this one Tony, I have to do something similar when I get mine. He was way too busy on details, he definitely needed simplifing.
I love the way the original one came but now that I see this I have to get another one great job

It definitely looks a whole lot better. I’m glad you did this custom cause now. I wanna get one and do one for myself.
Super 🔥 work 👌
I’m doing the same when I get mine
Thanks bro
Nice job cutting the skirt off it makes it look so different I like it . I might do that on one of mine thanks for showing the process

Tuned in🫡🤙🏽
Looks a hell of alot better with all that S cut off of him, I might have to do something like this.
Good idea. Thanks for sharing! 🍻
I like it. I'll probably loose the hood too when I do mine
@@Fore-Four-Dee-Too Kemme know what u do. That sucker is low and on tight 😄
😎 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 great work bro
He looks more like a ninja now as opposed to a samurai. I’m not sure what look they were going for.
Looks much better

@davidr8389 Yeah, didnt mess with.
SS V2 imo reminds me of MK11 Scorpion.

You should paint this one orange and make it look like Kenny from South Park
@bobbywold2311 Hahaaa! Ill pass on that. Ill paint yours for u. 😉
Nice 👍🏿
Definitely doing this to mine. Also, what paint pens do you use? Are they just as good as using a brush?

The straight sword is the Ninjato sword the true ninja sword
@@thousandwolves952 beahahahaha
How do you address super stiff leg joints?
@@Peter-rc8wy Heat em up! Heat gun, hair dryer...
So there's no way to remove the belt without destroying it?
@ianisip7297 I think so. Try removing both legs and the trunks. Belt should slide right off.
Hate it when the roof of my mouth itches too
@modelmisfit Hahaaa! Loki, u heard that? Too funny.
