Second hunting trip with my new Neopod, pushing forward on bipod to take the shot of a Sika deer at 450yrds and the BiPod leg broke of. Its currently been sent back to Steinert, if they send me a replacement i will sell it on. Not happy with it at all.

Read the response from Steinert Sensing Systems, good money paid not really happy way it broke with little use ua-cam.com/video/bSBG-yTTgPQ/v-deo.html That art off mountain long range shooting has change in the last 10 years we want the gear advertised right.

How well has this held up? I've seen one instance of it breaking but haven't heard of many long term reviews.
I'm after a simple ultra lightweight bipod which this does in spades, but I need it to hold up to a little bit of "shit happens"

+Rusty Shackleford well Im useing it all the time. There was one failiture in construction of joint but they send me spare pary before it brake. Now they sell only improved version. So i could say it is robust.

The prohibitive cost of the Neopod makes me carry a Harris or 10 for thew same money!!!
