I see some very lovely creations here... This is a better collection from Chanel than I have seen for a while now. The black and white outfit at about 7:02 is outstanding in my view.

The black panels hanging on front, sides, and back of the skirt is a design feature used on skirts during the late 1950s and early 1960s. The black & white hat is a definite nod to Coco Chanel's personal style. The black & white colors in general are hints of traditional Chanel style. A black pillbox hat was even used on the bride though with a white veil.
This collection go better and better with each garment. Still very much a Chanel collection but made more modern, with a twist. I liked many of the pieces. I believe Coco…and Carl would be pleased.

Hmmm not seeing anything that excite me on this runway except for the magenta pants suit, everything else seem blah. You know what I think I might have seen this fashion show before. I know that I definitely seen the runway at this location and at the end they had the same set up with them standing on the steps and fluffy white stuff falling on them. If it not the same runway they need a fresh idea to energize their classic vibe. Because it was just ok, yawn. So, it a new runway because I don't remember the bride throwing the bouquet. I'm not an expert, but who making comments here is an expert in fashion? The outfits were chic and some were lovely. There were only a few hints thrown at what would be considered a general idea of traditional Chanel fashion.

I love the tweed collection still there is the chanel signature fabric and the wide pànts and the long skirts are fun.feminine nostalgic and can wear it formally or semi formal with jackets or sweaters.what a change from lean bottoms an mini skirts shorts etc.one could use less rich fabrics for street wear..I think that's what I'll do. I know how to sew.
Hmm….I think Chanel is in trouble. After her first disappointing collection I wanted to give Viard a break. She had, and has, big shoes to fill. But this latest one solidified my initial suspicions, I’m afraid. Way too much going on in some of these looks, and the proportions off. I do think that Chanel has to move forward, while maintaining its signature style. But I don’t think this is it.
