I was just up in Minocqua did a little fishing didnt catch anytbing tho because I am set up for nebraska fishing different water so the fish weren't into what I got i cant wait to move there to get all new eq to fish for wisconsin when im up there for work people always have monster musky and pike on the walls there im so jelly good fishing man

Todays Angler True that not everybody has musky within an hour or 2 drive from them but it’s easy to get fired up to go after big pike after watching a musky vid

Just goto fighting island in the Detroit River, or where the river meets lake saint Claire, that’s where we get em. Years ago though but I don’t fish it anymore so take the spots boys.
I was fishing in the Northwoods inn Sawyer County and lost land lake and I did not have any action from any fish for a week straight. It was very tough the fishing weather was very warm water temps in the mid 80s but it was still fun is there anything that I could’ve done differently?

Thank you thats good advice. Good thing it was early Friday morning, and the lake hadn't seen 90°+ for two days straight yet. I was able to deal with her fast she was out of the water for seconds, and released safely watched her swim back to the depths. I have you guys to thank for teaching me how to handle them carefully, and quickly.
Good to practice on 40” fish in the summer so you will be ready when you hook that 50”+ fatty in the fall.

I was hoping to get out this weekend but the water temps skyrocketed. The lake we have our cabin at which isn’t to far from leech had water temps of 83 degrees and my brother saw a floater on leech. So I didn’t go. Fishing wasn’t that good for bass either.
Upper Clam Lake in Wisconsin is the best luck I’ve had musky fishing. We caught 12 total within 9 days. Biggest one was 52”

ILL Musky Hunter Yeah most of the others were between 30 and 40. I was also bass fishing but wasn’t able to catch anything out of the 9 days we were there other than musky

Love your vids. I’m a pike angler from the uk and would love to try Muskie fishing one day. I’m looking at buying a Muskie rod so I can throw 30cm+ lures for huge pike. What 2 peice 9ft rods are out there that could throw over 18 ounces.
Ps you should get a weigh sling and an unhooking mat. Two peices of gear we use to protect all species we catch in the uk and all over Europe. The unhooking mat is a soft mat that protects the fish if they decide to flop while on the boat or on the bank and the weight sling allows you to weigh the fish without having a rope around the gills or using boga grips.
Not familiar with a 2pc 9'. We have weighed them in a cradle but only late season when they weigh heavy and take more handling.

I was there a week ago and my friend was doing a figure 8 with a buck tail and a 48”+ Muskie take it and he fucked up the hook set and didn’t get it. It was close to the town Winter and that was his first time Muskie fishin

In general the higher the dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration, the better it is for fish. As you can see, it drops off pretty significantly towards the right side of that curve. By the way--20C is 68 degrees Fahrenheit, and 30C is 86F.

Could be wrong but I think he moved to and is fishing the Hayward area..if so he’s more like two hrs away. I have fished Big Saint a couple times myself. Other than Canada northern WI is my favorite place to fish. Love it up there!!

Seth Gabbard they normally go to multiple musky expos throughout the winter..if you are close enough to any that’s a good way to meet them. I have met lee and Robbie a few times and they are both great guys..they also make some sweet lures 👍
