I love how when the sheep lamb they look like "oh, I guess I have a baby now." Like it's that simple. "That came from me I guess. I should do something about that"
It’s so good that you picked up a better method to help. Bring the labs back quicker. Thank goodness there are others out there spreading there hacks that make good sense. I’m glad you had that determination to do whatever you can to help failing lambs or sheep. You’re a miracle worker.
I just finished my lambing season. Now I get to watch you and figure out what I can improve on. I bought a heating pad this year and it has saved 7 lambs.
An alternative heating pad is snuggle safe. It is a disk that heats in the microwave and keeps warm for 6 hours. The nice thing is no electricity for the animals to get tangled in. You can also move the orphan lambs to a pen and add the snuggle safe before bedtime for “motherly” warmth.
I noticed that too! I think Sandi was at 100,000 when I started watching because she had just opened her plaque from youtube. She deserves all the followers in the universe.
"Go count sheep" that's my husband's trigger words for me to go rest. I am battling cancer for the third time. I, like most women, tend not to give myself a break. I sleep in a recliner. As my husband comes to kiss me good night he wispers to me...go count sheep. I rewatch all your videos at night as my white noise. Thank you for so many videos. I am working threw your Playlist now. Hugs to you and my counting sheep!
Thank you for posting! I could have written this. My husband teases me about counting sheep as well. I also sleep in a recliner and watch the videos until I fall asleep! It truly helps me get thru the pain, frustration and depression!

Those little lammies that Sandi had to rescue by putting in a warning box have to think that Sandi is their mom. They look adorable with those sweaters on. I love how Sandi talks so sweet to the lambs.
I couldn't help but laugh at the 3 bottle lambs trying to morph through the fence when you were feeding one and they all wanted it to be their turn instead!! Also, the 2 lambs you were tending when Mark came in, I think the one probably did have the inners partly on the outside. With that, I know it isn't a good chance for survival, and his/her sibling might have had something else similar just not noticeable. I'm just happy that the momma accepted those Lil ones. She is such a good mommy!! Can't wait to go through this lambing with you!!!! You do such amazing work!!!
Don't feel bad about a messy barn. That's literally what you hired Carissa for! I think she'd feel weird and not useful if everything was perfect when she arrived. It feels good to look back on a job well done, and I think Carissa probably enjoys that feeling as much as you do. You can't do everything, Sandi. Accept that help!
I have watched you for years and have never commented but I just have to say, I love how you talk openly about researching things because you forget between lambings. To me you’re a pro and It’s nice to hear a pro admit that they don’t know everything. I really needed that reminder today. So, thank you and you rock!
Something I've noticed (probably only of interest to me, but here we are), is that, over the years, seeing Kinsey mature, she has stopped just bolting down the alley the microsecond the door opens in the morning (I am speed!), and now does a brisk survey of her sheep friends, ESPECIALLY during lambing. I love seeing how dogs' attention points change with experience, and she just loves any chance to help Mom care for her sheepies. Such a good girl! ❤
If Sandi would do a little of the Dog Whisperer's training and stop letting the dogs be the pack leader, she could actually teach them something. Instead, they have to figure things out for themselves. SMH
My goodness Sandi... I am in awe of ewe 😊 You are the picture of dedication & compassion. Watching as you focus & turn to on your chores is a real lesson for others. I love how you casually say, "Ive just been running around saving babies". Watching you with the bottle babies makes my heart smile❤ Well done. Thanks for letting us into your world.
I can’t imagine there is a Mom among your viewers who *doesn’t* push when seeing another mama in labor😁🐑❤️. Lovely when no intervention is needed - and fantastic when a lamb on death’s door recovers to join the regular flock.
That was an amazing save, Sandi! Working L&D, and NICU, I always admired the moms who had so much milk they could share. One Mom, whose baby passed, pumped four times a day for three months. The milk was brought in by courier, and given to our NICU babies. Twenty years ago, but I’ll never forget the absolute love she showed to others. We had a thank you party for her, her other kids came along, it was a joyous farewell.
Oh boy! That dextrose was a miracle. So sorry mama list those two lambs. The one sounded like omphalocele, which in humans is many times associated with other birth defects. So glad she was willing to adopt readily. Prayers for her and all the other mamas and babies.
Love the lambing! You look tired but then you take hold of a newborn lamb and you just light up. Your two canine assistants are definitely keeping a close eye on the warm room lambies. Thanks for these videos. They are simply wonderful! ❤️🐑👍
They need hydration as well, so diluting is also good. Just not as fast for you. I think the fact that it is less stressful, due to less math gymnastics, makes it nearly miraculous! Good for you!!
So happy that the ewe accepted the preg tox lambs. All of the lambs seem so tiny so far. There are so many really cute ones in this new group of lambs. The brown and white one, speckled ones and the little Billy. It's heartbreaking that Red prolapsed and will have to go after having her babies who hopefully make it. If you keep Teddy from the last group I can imagine how adorable her lambs will be. Hopefully things settle down and they figure out if it's the hay causing the problems with the ewes.
That's quick thinking Sandi! Way to make a sad event happy! So sad about the loss of the 2 but how wonderful that mum accepted the 2 orphans!!! And that it eases some heartbreak all around...omg love it!!
Sandi print out and laminate a flow chart for lambing problems! Don’t rely on internet connectivity to remind you of what needs done as it slows the process down. If it’s written out and posted on the wall you can quickly find the information and get a move on! No searching needed. Just like your feed sheets the info is there so there is no confusion.
That was a good mom that accepted the lambs that weren’t hers. I hope she passes along the mama skills to the bottle babies. And good save on the other 2 lambs. I did not think the 1st one would make it. Shout out to the lady who told you about her results when she did not dilute the dextrose!
I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your expertise. We have a very small herd of goats and have begun kidding. One of our Mama's didn't want to get up after she kidded and it was because of your videos that I moved the baby to the Mama's head where she started to lick him off. So thank you so much, it was very helpful.
So thankful you were able to save the first 2 bottle babies. They are so cute when they’re wearing their warming coats. Wishing you all the best on this lambing session. Keep up the excellent work Sandi.
The love and care you show your struggling lambs is so heartwarming. ❤️❤️ We were all cheering along with you and were thrilled you succeeded. Fostering is what I live for in your videos. A ewe that loses her baby/ies should have a chance to mother.
I love that Lucy is watching so intently while you are fixing the warming box. The dogs are always so involved with what is happening. Lucy seems to be so caring. It makes so much more sense to give 6 cc of Dextrose by intra-peritoneal injection than diluting it in water. I totally support you in that one decision.
I’ve always wondered why it was diluted in the first place, although I get it was you avoid hyperglycemia, but with the right dosage for their weight it shouldn’t be a problem. I’m so happy it worked out for her, it means saving more lambs in the future and they will get colostrum within 2 hours of birth instead of several which also means healthier sheep!
Sandy you have no idea how much joy your videos bring to people like me whether they are lambing videos or you and mark out in the field. You go through so much to bring us this videos and all I can really say is thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤
I love love love how Sandy cares about every lamb and sheep! You can really tell this is a labor of love in every sense of the word!!. She does everything she can to save every possible life. She is amazing!!! ❤❤❤❤🐕🐕🦺
Sandi you are such amazing lady, watching how you nursed those two lambs back from the brink of death was just truly heart warming and made me cry. Such beautiful display of care and dedication you have to fight for them and do everything possible to help them. I understand all outcomes are not the same but this truly was truly amazing. You should never count yourself incapable of achieving anything cause you have proven you love your job and care so much for all these animals is truly amazing.
Sandi, you are a saint, with all of your love, patience, and hard work you put into your family, sheep, and lambs. Sending love, light, and healing to you, your family, sheep 🐑 and lambs.
So happy the little boys made it!! The one boy legit looked like he was already dead when you brought him to the warming room. Totally limp. If you hadn’t said he had a heartbeat I would have thought he was dead. So glad he bounced back and glad he has a foster mom now!
Wow, that’s a shame about those twins but at least the ewe took those other two babies. Well keep it positive and hopefully things will get better. I pray for you they do❤️🙏
You must be so proud of yourself when you save the babies that really look like they aren't going to make it. Give yourself a pat on the back congrats and well done Sandy.😊❤
So amazing! That first lamb, almost had me crying with his sweet little bae!!! You saved him and the others, so so amazing!!!!!!! I have been watching for gosh a year now maybe longer and I am so thankful you came up in my feed one day!! You can see how your lambs love you back!!!!
I don't think Carissa will mind the mess much when she sees the video Sandi😏 I think she will go "dang you were busy!" And just rock on like normal😄 I'm sorry the twin set didn't make it but so happy momma took the other 2 on! She should get a extra note of "good foster" for future reference to you!🥰
Watching that milk go down the tub into that little lambs belly was so great. My heart fills with such joy seeing them eating. Thank you for sharing it all. God bless
Aww, sorry those lambs went flat 🙄Delighted the mama accepted the preg tox orphans☺ What a roller-coaster of emotions! We know you're experiencing that even more than us. Virtual hugs 💕💕
Sandi, just another tip for the warming boxes. You'll retain more heat if you create a barrier between the box and the concrete. Bath mats work great or old towels. Hope it helps ❤
Sandi, I just wanted to let you know that you aren't just saving your own babies you are saving others babies as well!! I had triplets born outside in the dirt and mama left them. By the time I got to them they were almost frozen and dead. I did exactly as you have taught me (like shown in this video) and it worked!!!! All babies are doing well and back with mama. I know sometimes UA-cam gets tough for you and the comments you get, but I just want you to know how much you have truly helped me with my little herb. You are such a great role model to me. I have literally told my husband I want to be Sandi Brock when I grow up! Haha. (I'm 34). Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. It means more than you know.
I’m so happy the nearly dead lamb made it! I feel like you really needed a win with how things have been going. It might be useful to get a thermometer that will give you readings for those low lambs. You’ll be able to get a better feel for how quickly they are improving. If they read ‘low’ more than once it might not look like things are getting better, but they actually might be warming up. I had the exact same problem for the wildlife work I was doing, but was able to get an inexpensive one online that reads low temps. It really helped me see if an animal was improving or not.
Thank you for your work in the wildlife rescue! Perhaps you can pass on a link for that thermometer for Sandi, so she is sure to get the right one. ((hugs)) for what you do.
It was actually for wildlife research. We were sedating river otters in the field to tag them so that we could track them and learn more about their habitat requirements and survival rates. This info is really important for conservation and habitat management. The new drugs we were using had the side effect of making it harder for the animals to thermoregulate, but we were able to keep them warm with hot packs and blankets until they woke up and were released.
I Absolutely Love how much you love your lambs and how they love you and trust you in return. The sweaters are so cute and such an awesome way to keep them warm.
That person who made those sweaters!!! How did you live without them?? That new Dextrose treatment WOW... the way it should be! Thanks for letting us spend the day with you. In these stressful times I really look forward to seeing your videos... bless you and all of the lambs that you care for! NEVER apologize for what you are able to do.. your plate is always full and has been overflowing for some time now!
I have watched you for years through my good times and bad and i really have to say that the videos are the highlight of my day. Sometimes being bed bound watching you makes it a little easier. Thank You Sandi !!!!
Sandi, I would say that was a positive video. Shame the two that died, but getting the other two on the mum was very good. Who would have thought the two you had to warm up, would look so lively the next day. It is your skill that does it all the time. Love from Mike. ❤
At 20 minutes and 58 seconds the lamb was trying to reposition herself, and her one utter got in the way, and all I could think was Girl I know how you feel!
I was feeling kinda yucky today. Needing some cheering up. Boy did I get that. Now I feel better and have a smile on my face. Thanks Sandy & all the beautiful baby lambs!
Sandy, you do an excellent job with everything you touch. And yes there are heart breaking setbacks but then there are God-given gifts and you take care of both with such grace. When things are not going your way just remember there is an awful lot of people cheering you on.
Sandi, I love the fact that you don’t give up on your babies. Too many would just think it wasn’t worth the trouble. But you are amazing and I’m so glad when a baby makes it.
Look at all that steam from birthing! You do such an excellent job caring for your animals! I love the sound that the baby lambs make talking to you. Love your posts. I hope your little lamb makes it! I saw that you had a heart felt note from a person w/ cancer. I was diagnosed a few years ago with diffuse systemic scleroderma (a rare autoimmune, no cure) and 2 yrs ago diagnosed with multiple myeloma (it is bone marrow & kidney cancer together) so there are many days I am in bed. Your videos lift the spirit, you make a difference with your posts! How is your daughter? I am declining a lot of treatments as both of these are terminal and I prefer to be able to spend time with my family and friends than to be too sick from chemo and other treatments and in my 60's I have had a wonderful life. I have written several times on your posts, please ignore the complainers and the negative stuff that gets sent it is just trolls wanting to mess with all of you that post on youtube.
Laura, may God bless you with more time and peace and comfort than you are expecting, despite the difficulties. I can appreciate your decision to go for quality, rather than quantity of remaining days. You will be in my prayers.
Oh my goodness!! We need to feed the tiny cold tube baby Dawson. He simply made the cutest kissy face to the world. Richard Dawson kissed everyone he could. ❤❤❤
I still can't get over how adorable the little lambs are in their sweaters. I was so excited for your 2 little saves. You've had just some adorable colorings so far. So glad you were able to have that ewe who lost her babies adopt 2 little lambs in need. I just love watching your videos
O my god sandi hear we gove. So cute lamms and great work with the lamms and mommis. You have a good system that saves life so keep it up and will pray and hope when you have a bad day that we can be moral suuport fore you and keep you going.
It's sad that the momma lost her two babies, but it's awesome that she took the other two like they were hers. You did say as she was lambing that she was a good mom.
I just love to watch you and your sheep! The way you encourage your moms' when in labor and how you welcome each lamb, so adorable. I can imagine the craziness you go through and each round is a pot shot as to what might happen. Just love watching you and all you do. And watching those babies running and jumping just makes me smile!!!
She reminds me of a labor and delivery nurse. One that's older than the patient and has seen it all. I was almost 30 and had a nurse talk like that. Lol. I wasn't offended like most would be I enjoyed her and watching her. She was a wonderful nurse and woman and she saved a nurse from being smacked! Lol.
The warm bath helped and revived the lil ones. I hope you can take the time to do the same for yourself. Your muscles deserve it in the cold weather and the long days. Love you!!! 💕💕💕
I just love it when the lil furbabies come back from the brink & are then full of life & fighting..Thanks for doing the absolute best for them..Love watching everything u do to raise these lambs & just how well looked after they are ❤
I ❤ the little lambs in their woolsweaters.... Maybe you can takethis as an idea for the next xmas- collection: littel lambs with woolsweater....soooooo cute❤❤❤
I have to comment before I forget!! I'm halfway into the video. Watching you play Sheep/Lamb Tetris with the pens ... wow. How do you keep up literally and mentally! Love the eyelashes on the first little lamb. What a set of survival stories (so far). And it's a shame there's not a nursing belt for Lucy with teats so she can take care of the little lambs. Nanny Lucy. :)
Golly day, those brown lambs are cuter than anything! YOU had me crying over the two babies that looked dead! What a MIRACLE both survived! Thrilled to hear the newest Mom accepted two orphaned lambs. What a mystery that those two babies didn't make it. Off to a crazy start.
Great saves and a foster win too. You are amazing. Your lambs are precious and your ewes are sweet. There is always mysteries as to why lambs recover from near death and others just fail to survive.congratulations on the IPad.
It was so nice to watch that sheep trying so desperately to clean her lamb but it wasn't close enough. It's amazing to watch their instincts kick in. It's cool to watch. Thank you so much for yet another amazing video ❤❤❤
I just have to tell you how much I love your channel. I came across it several months ago and have been a huge fan of it! I work EMS and your videos have been a huge help when the job gets rough! I see how much compassion you have towards these animals and watching you come thru the ups and downs is something that helps me as well. I thank you so much for all you put into this channel and your sheep! I will say all of my coworkers have been hearing ‘baa has’ at all hours of the day and night and they get a kick out of it. My husband thought he was losing his mind because he’d keep hearing the baas and couldn’t figure out what the helk was going on, he now watches it as well! I look forward to your videos and again have to say Thank you!
Watching these mamas have their babies is hard, especially when I’m trying to push for them and I’m not even pregnant lol And those miracle babies are the cutest little nuggets I have seen in a long time apparently that new dextrose treatment works amazing
I am really glad that those two lambs did so well. I am also glad to see that you are using a tablet to keep your records. You will be able to see all your records that much better. Much better than trying to see them on your phone. Way to go!
Our Wyoming Life, Mike needs your help, he's having calf's that moms reject them or die in labor and need to feed the babies and don't know about the handheld milk pump you use to milk the cows and feed them. Could you contact him, he's a good guy and can use ur experience at this. Thanks, love you Sandi, your God sent, bless you 😊❤
I love how when the sheep lamb they look like "oh, I guess I have a baby now." Like it's that simple. "That came from me I guess. I should do something about that"
Lol right! I swear that is what they think 😂😂
That is hilarious.
😂😂❤

Man that was the hardest poop ever!!
Why is it wiggling?
My poop never acts like that.
There’s always a point in your videos were I’m sad. It’s when I realize it’s almost over 😢. I could watch you all day!
I just finished my lambing season. Now I get to watch you and figure out what I can improve on. I bought a heating pad this year and it has saved 7 lambs.
That's great. Sounds like you had a good lambing time. Those little ones steal your heart. 💖🐑💖

Woo Hoo !!!
Having an iPad is a game changer!
Just realized your so close to a million followers. That's insane as I've been watching you for years. You deserve every single one of us.

Yes she does!!! She's my #1 favorite YT channel!
I haven't seen alot of your videos, since I just started watching a short time ago, but how many head of ewes do you have?
I love the little sweaters. It just adds to the cuteness overload. Thanks to everyone kind enough to send them to Sandy.

The babies this round are way way way more adorable than I ever remember.
Hang in there Sandi. You are doing great. Dark face was destined to be a mommy. Glad she adopted them. Have a great day! I appreciate you
OHH! So HAPPY to see newborn shake its head before its rear end is completely out! Yay, LIFE! La vida loca! 💃💕💕
Miracle lambs melt my heart 🥰 Great work Sandi!! Dextrose and a warm bath/box…lifesavers indeed!! You’re doing amazing ❤🎉
Those wee lambs made such a fast recovery! They look great!!!
The love and compassion you show all your sheep big or small is so heartwarming
So happy the little boys made it!! The one boy legit looked like he was already dead when you brought him to the warming room. Totally limp. If you hadn’t said he had a heartbeat I would have thought he was dead. So glad he bounced back and glad he has a foster mom now!
Oh my god! SANDY You are absolutely AMAZING! Thank you for always always doing everything you possibly could to save these beautiful lambs 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
And giving Mom some little ones to love. 😍
You rock 🎸 girl!!!
I’m so happy to see them doing so well. Never give up….truly amazing!
The four bottle babies are just so cute. The ones that are ok are beautiful. Things do get better❤️❤️👍
It was so beautiful to see that ewe take those two babies that was not hers. ❤ you needed that positive after all you have been through. 🌹💐🇺🇲
Wish we could “thumbs up” more than once 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤜🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I don't raise sheep, but I love Sandi and the lambs. Such beautiful creatures.
"in case tomorrow is a gong show." 😅
Those two little lambs pulling thru just made my day! Awesome sauce!! Great job, Sandi! 😊❤
Congratulations on your "save"! That is so awesome. Those babies will hold a special place in your heart. Thank you for caring and loving them.
That is a very good idea!
Sandi I just love seeing lambs that you saved! Miraculous! 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Sandi…you try harder & succeed more than anyone I know! ❤
It’s amazing how that ewe just accepted the two born to the preg tox ewe! Wow! Good job everybody!
🙏🙏 So good to see the little reject responding & kicking! Sandi's NICU so lovely! 💕💕
That wee cry the wee baby boy gave when you put him in the glove - broke my eyes 😢 and heart ❤
Thanks, Sandi. I really needed to see some happiness. I know it is stressful for you. For me, it is a reprieve from the heaviness of my life
I want to thank you for your videos, I have terminal cancer, and I really look forward to watching all of your videos they keep me going
I love how you flick on the lights and the Sheep start talking to you!
Love you!!! 💕💕💕
I just love it when the lil furbabies come back from the brink & are then full of life & fighting..Thanks for doing the absolute best for them..Love watching everything u do to raise these lambs & just how well looked after they are ❤
Oh my god, the little lambs weak sounds are breaking my heart. ♥😭
I’ve never noticed the steam coming during birthing before! No wonder they get cold so quick!!
Freaks me out initially every time :)
I love that you learn something new every lambing!! It just makes you a better shepherdess!!(?)
It was so nice to watch that sheep trying so desperately to clean her lamb but it wasn't close enough. It's amazing to watch their instincts kick in. It's cool to watch. Thank you so much for yet another amazing video ❤❤❤
I love that saving these babies makes your heart sing, made me smile for you
I just have to tell you how much I love your channel.
You need to get yourself a protective Ipad cover, not so slippery and easier to hold :)
I love to see that Udderly EZ in action! Waste not, want not! especially the liquid gold of colostrum!! 💕💕
Sandi you are doing a hell of a good job. Don't fricken forget that!!!
Good job Sandi with fostering the 2 lambs. It's a bitter sweet moment.
What a roller coaster again X the glove bath is working so well so far again ❤️
It's all nature at it most real ❤️
This video is very special and warmed my heart. Sandi, the ICU nurse 👩⚕️
Watching these mamas have their babies is hard, especially when I’m trying to push for them and I’m not even pregnant lol
And those miracle babies are the cutest little nuggets I have seen in a long time apparently that new dextrose treatment works amazing
You know it's cold in the barn when you can see the breath of the mama sheep. I'm so glad you revived those two babies.
Thanks, love you Sandi, your God sent, bless you 😊❤
It's amazing how that ewe accepted the lambs and they love her. ❤
