This is indeed an original which she released at age 13 or 14. 7th Heaven is such a great song! It hasn't grown old on me despite the many times I have listened to it. The song is so alive: the bass gives the song a heartbeat and her singing gives it a soul. A beautiful song about never losing hope and your dreams. It's in my top 3 as well along with at least 10 other songs😂
The difference between the live studio version and the video version is small from a musical point of view: her live singing is so good! Personally I tend to prefer the live versions as they are bit rougher and more emotional.
Recently she did a concert in Las Vegas. I only saw it through smartphone recordings and it was amazing. The people who were in the audience just recently gathered themselves again being blown to pieces.
During the concerts she sang a new original 'Princess of the Ruins' the origin story of her barefoot performing. Just the other day she sang a new original 'Bad Valentine' and a brilliant cover of 'If I were a boy' both with Toby Gad. Both songs should become available in streaming services soonish as well.
She will be performing with him in London in the Palladium on the 20th and the 23rd of May.
Some fans might be a bit prickly at times, in general we're a decent enough bunch :-)
I spent Friday binge watching your Angelina Jordan play list, just recovered there a quite a few of Angelina,s best performances that you have not reacted to, so I will post them first one is 8 year old Angelina singing what a difference a day makes. Song 2 is I'm still holding out for you (this is a fan made leaked video but there is no problem with playing it) will post more later
