I love how confident Nick went into this, and as soon as that turn 10 chance time happened it was all just a snowball of bad and worse things for him
He probably came in expecting either Vernia’s bad luck, or Sophist’s lack of skill and chaotic nature to disrupt the game enough to let him win.
What he didn’t expect, was everyone cooperating professionally. Coming up with plans of attack and strategies to ensure he stayed in last.

He tends to be the one to cause friction with each of them so I imagine this was their golden opportunity to "return the favor" .

Nick saying “I didn’t plan this far ahead” on Turn 3 is a great indicator of how the rest of the video is gonna go.
Seeing Brent, eevee, and Vern cooperate, Eevee SUCCESSFULLY not getting last in snow whirled, and the perfect rotation reference, this video was actually amazing

I just want to say:
The reason Eevee is playing smart and actually coordinating with Vern and Brent is because of 1 comment I wrote under one of his videos on 1v3.
A full essay of tricks, strategies and everything needed, he couldn't apply all of it on this game nor this map, but he did his best.

Out of the literally 50+ times you guys have done chance time, the arrow has ALWAYS faced the left. It's amazing how Nick spent 3 minutes timing the right panel for himself and not realizing this.
There are chances of the arrow facing right, not to mention the "Coin Swap" and "Stars Swap", where there's two arrows

The placements are not random, that's why they all jump immediately at the start.

As someone who haven't actually played Mario party, i thought it was part of the game. Making the punchline much funnier.
I think the harshest part of that last chance time is that not only did Nick not win, but he made it so Brent won AGAIN.
Nick's willpower, never give up attitude and how he can fight until the very end is actually inspiring. Add that with being buff irl and he's like the John Cena of the Party Crashers.

Kaleidoscopic Core playing at 13:00 while Nick was trying to get the chance time right made my day. That track is so epic and it really hyped up the moment. And The Weight of Life playing at 24:37 was also great. Nick really put his all in this game, it was so much fun to see it all play out!

That ending had me me tensed up! I think this was one of the best matches of Mario Party played this year! The Eevee redemption arc where he somehow TIED with Brent in the button mashing game, Vernias’ sick roast for Nick getting himself in the Chance Time, Brent dominating the mini games as usual and Nick’s smart plays to not get last was incredible.

I'm at the final Chance Time right now. Despite already knowing how this will end from Eevee's video, I still feel the adrenaline pulsing through. The moment, the commentary, the editing, it just all lines up to make Nick's last stand as epic as possible.
Also kind of ironic that it's Eevee's video I already know it from, since that same music that contributes to the epicness of this scene is also used in his outro.
