In Sweden many children are taught a few simple pieces on the recorder, which has given this wonderful instrument a reputation as a toy instrument. If only had heard this …
judge vivaldi all u want for his simplisity but he was genius this music speaks to the soul it has magic its powerful its something of the universe it connects to the greater betoyond like any other great composer and will always be kept alive for its greatness
Vivaldi was not simplistic. He was a genius at simplicity. That means he was a genius of art. Can you imagine the boring wreck Telemann would make instead? Can you recall two Telemann melodies ? Maybe one. Where there are dozens by Don Antonio (without counting his operas and sacred music!)
@@mrJohnDesiderio - I love Telemann and Vivaldi - I think there are plenty of wonderful melodies written by both composers, the difference is that Telemann often hid his within a piece and only gave us snippets to tempt us - much like a modern jazz piece. There are some wonderful melodies to be found in his Canonic sonatas for example.
@Serene Sandrine - somewhere on YT is a short film of Bosgraaf talking about the man who makes his instruments and working with him to get them perfect. I think it's Ernst Myer and as far as I know they are all wooden.
It's because it's in baroque tuning, 415 hz (1/2 tone less than modern). That's why your tuner detects it as a B. It sounds as a B but is techically a C but in baroque tuning
Se não fosse a música clássica não seria possível haver filmes clássicos como há ou seja muitos outros são apresentados por exemplo a abertura de grandes novelas e grandes clássicos

My father played the recorder and loved all things recorder. I played this as he was passing away and it helped to calm him. Thank you.
VIVALDI has created the most beautiful concerto of all times w/ his 443 and this performer does HIM justice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This music is a expressions of the soul, and unrivaled
The Largo of the RV 443 is so heartbreaking 😭💔
Strålande musik! Vivaldi är alltid underbar.
Such brilliance!
A true virtuoso.
I love all things Vivaldi...his recorder concertos are among his most inspiring works...thanks for the upload...

Привет из Киева.
Can you tell about the recorder? Wood, Ivory? Maker?
Unfortunately I can't. The artist is Erik Bosgraaf, he will most likely to be able to answer your question
@Serene Sandrine - somewhere on YT is a short film of Bosgraaf talking about the man who makes his instruments and working with him to get them perfect. I think it's Ernst Myer and as far as I know they are all wooden.
Question why is the first movement of Concerto in C Major, RV 444 in the wrong key? He plays a B instead of a C (check with a tuner it's will show B)
It's because it's in baroque tuning, 415 hz (1/2 tone less than modern). That's why your tuner detects it as a B. It sounds as a B but is techically a C but in baroque tuning

I bet Vivaldi got a black belt from her Music teacher in the 3rd grade.
