I love this, looks fantastic in the orange! - there isn’t enough orange BCDs out there.
I’m in the market for a single wing! So I’ll be looking more into this before buying the bullet on a ZEN .

One strange thing with Tecline is that the store near me only sells 21, 16 and 13 liter versions. They don't have an 11 liter option. In the photos of the store, there is a BCD that says PEANUT 13. They probably changed the product, but for some reason it seems that the manufacturers of diving equipment are not very open with their products. It is difficult to find accurate information even about the devices that I have already bought.

I’m very interested in their kids setup. My 10yr old daughter dives DIR style.

Thank you for your review. I am considering to buy a BP/W setup and currently deciding between TECLINE Peanut and the XDEEP Zen with aluminum BP. Which one would you recommend for an intermediate diver doing the first switch from jacket style BCD to BP/W?

Is there any reason why a diver would need a BCD with a very large volume? The only reason I can come up with is being on the surface. My current one is 13 liters in volume and the next one will be smaller. I thought I would get Apeks' 8 liter, but Tecline's 11l is an attractive option because of the design. When I was young we didn't have an octo or a BCD. #askmark

It's mainly if you need to bring a lot of heavy gear or compensate for a compressing wetsuit. If you have a thick wetsuit then you'll lose a lot of buoyancy at depth and will need to use your BCD to maintain buoyancy at depth.
But yes, if you're correctly weighted, you're not wearing a thick wetsuit and you're not carrying heavy gear then there's not much reason for a huge BCD other than redundancy.

Hi! What do you think about not using STA?
    Thanks. Best regards from Spain.

    Hi Mark, two questions:
Is there any difference between this and the Tecline donut, that might be the reason for the 3 year difference in warranty?
Could you ever take a look at the Finnsub Ultralite 13 BCD? How does this compare to the Peanut? We’re currently thinking of investing into our own BCD for travel and the Peanut and the Ultralite are the two BCDs we’re currently deciding between.
    Thank you!

Problem is… it’s just not sexy.
