Waiting in Expectation

We can approach each day with hope and expectation because of God's faithfulness. We have declared in scripture and song that God is faithful, our refuge, hope, and joy. No matter what happens today, this week, or in the future, we can face it with faith, knowing that the God who sustained Israel, Jesus, and the early disciples, can also sustain us. Vibrant faith is rooted in daily time with God. More than just a quiet time to meditate and pray, we can enter this time expecting to meet God!

As I listened to this I must say I am like the psalmist! Waiting this morning to hear God’s voice and I lay out my needs! Today, 16 years ago my mother walked away from us and as I am still grieving even after all these years; I still wait to hear her voice .Thank you Pastor for your prayers and this ministry that I listen to every morning

I am a little confused, when you say 'in the morning I wait in expectation ' does it mean that whenever we pray we should wait until we hear an answer from God before we can conclude our prayer or does it mean that we pray and then go about our days while waiting in our heart for God's answer.
Do we expect to hear God answer immediately we pray?
