Thanks for the reaction! There was a lot of talk about this before. Dimash had a difficult period in his personal life, parting with his girlfriend. There are several videos from the fan camera where the face was shot in close-up, he was crying when he performed this song.
I’ve always heard this song is very personal for him, wrote it due to a break up and never sang it again…my personal opinion maybe to leave things in the past 🤷♀️

No. I didn’t know that. I assumed that Dimash must have been very popular at school due to his good looks, talents and charisma, so, but he was always very private about his personal life/relationship/girlfriend and such, probably for exactly this reason. Still waiting for your opinion on my second favorite singer Dan Vasc. He is also classically trained like Dimash but actually a metal singer. His opera is as good as his metal. His most phenomenal performance is Gethsemane from Jesus Christ superstar.

Esta cancion es preciosa. Lastima que no la cante mas, si te gusta como realiza la vocalizacion tienes que escuchar KNOW VOCALIZE del concierto de KIEV y tambien AUTUMN STRONG en el concierto de LONDON tiene un comienza que mete miedo..... Excepcional y eso que estaba enfermo en ese concierto

Hello Alex, I don't know the answer, I was at his Malaysia concert last year and he didn't sing it there either. However, you mentioned about your first reaction to this as if a new release. Unless you know already, there IS a new release in the form of a video of his first rendition of "Smoke" at his Hong Kong concert (December last) on 26 April - three days time. Watch out for that one!
Sorry but you are wrong..26th april is released only the song Smoke in all music platforms but not the mv in Dimash's channel..In Dimash's news there is the notice only about the song and nothing about the release of the mv..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever
There is no official reason as to why Dimash won't sing this anymore. He wrote it, so some assume it's about something too painful to bring up again. 😟
Димаш не распостраняется о личной жизни. Эта часть для него,не для публики.Но в этом случае,болезненное расставание безусловно прозвучало. На фан камерах крупным планом у него текли слезы.Он выплеснул это в песне и больше к этому не возвращался.

I would not recognize this song as being one of Dimash's. It lacks a lot of his style and I find it kind of a boring song as far as the song writing goes I don't know the lyrics because the closed captioning is not working except for your voice. I don't think he likes it because he does not get pleaaure singing it for whatever the reason, From hearing it, I totally understand why. He said one time that there are a few songs he does not like singing and this is probably one of them.

Dimash has dry, strident voice, all his songs lack any memorable melody. All his songs sound the same, like Soviet Collective farm pageant. Even the lyrics are so trite.
This song is so beautiful... Unfortunately, he has never sang it again....
