As much as I enjoy P3rd's polished movement and forgiving difficulty, my biggest complaint is that lots of HR armor sets are bogged down by limited gem slots and crappy skills, like (element name) attack up and sneak, leaving few options for optimal builds, hence why sets like Silver Rathalos, Amatsu, and Damascus are the game's meta sets. It's a damn shame because I like the armor designs of Barioth, Zinogre, Gigginox, Dober, and (Glacial) Agnaktor more than the meta sets' designs. And don't get me started on Talisman farming; tediousness and RNG makes it an utter chore. At least both Narga sets are pretty good, though I wish the sets have actual tails for the waist piece rather than butt shields. Don't get me wrong, P3rd holds a special place in my heart for introducing me to the MH series, and beating Amatsu for the first time felt satisfying, but I wish this game has buffed armor sets and more monsters.
I forgot how rathalos attacks on mhfu, but they sure added some extra animations on mhp3rd. And its like a new breeze of air for someone like me who used to played mhfu. (Altho not getting nowhere above hr 3 lol)
@@dalejeremiah08 i don't think that's a bad thing (the unavoidable part). it's like a punishment for not predicting his moves. but the hit box sucks that part i agree (not that they're 100% fixed in mhp3rd tho)

Rathalos and Rathian in MHFU is full of BS sudden moves. Unavoidable (if your weapon is unsheathe) charge rush and broken hitbox too
