beautiful! i had the great joy of seeing the Faberge eggs owned by Malcom Forbes some yrs ago in New York City, before he sent them back to Russia, so incredible, i could have stood in that little museum for days just looking at them!! beautiful....
King Alexander III appointed him an official Court Supplier, as a reward for making him a splendid Easter egg to give to his wife. Thereafter, Fabergé made an egg each year for the King to give to the Queen Maria . The next king Nikolas II, ordered two eggs each year, one for his mother and one for his own wife, Alexandra , a practice which continued from 1885 to 191
Peter Karl Fabergé also known as Karl Gustavovich Fabergé ,was a Russian jeweller of Baltic German-Danish and French origin. He was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia to the jeweller Gustav Fabergé and his Danish wife Charlotte Jungstedt. Gustav etc. etc. For more >> Wikipedia
Okay..assuming you even have what it takes to create such amazing designs..how the heck does one go about acquiring the materials to create these beauties? Does someone, just, save up enough paycheck money over many years to buy the gold and jewels to even create them?
Peter Carl Fabergé original name Carl Gustavovich Fabergé (1846 1920) was a Russian jeweler , best known for the famous Fabergé eggs , made in the style of genuine Easter eggs but using precious metals and gemstones rather than more mundane materials.
@LaserBeam002 Well, I was referring to a common person. Not Faberge. It's obvious the house of Faberge would be provided with all kinds of resources to make these things.
@eltomato159 I don't think I'll ever have large amounts of money - I seem to have the habit to give to charity what I don't really need. The eggs are fantastic, but why would one person pay millions of dollars to put an egg on the shelves whilst other people and animals are starving at the same time? I don't think I'll ever understand that :-)
Very beautiful!! Ecxelent!!!👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

@angelexa1 He was actually known for using a lot of mundane materials. Blue polished steel and Rose diamonds with many semi precious stones.
