And you forgot about Bowser possessed by the Golden Royal Sticker in Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
Mario possessing Bowser through Cappy doesn't count as a boss fight, but rather an escape objective after beating Bowser to free Peach.
Peach can't stop getting kidnapped and bowser can't stop getting cursed

BIS is by far perhaps the best final boss battle I’ve played! The music, blended colors, lore, and surprisingly good graphics are just all amplifiers to such a great, nostalgic game! ❤️💚💛💚

I remember playing this game on Christmas back in 2001 and as a little kid, the graphics on the door just blew my mind. I was like: WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m fairly certain King Boo was just wearing some kind of Bowser-shaped armor in Luigi’s Mansion.
Not even that, more of a manifestation of Luigis fear for Bowser he was controlling.
If was a physical form of Luigi’s biggest fear, which is why king boo said he knew Luigi’s greatest fear, and used it against him, though it wasn’t actually Bowser, we didn’t know that until Luigi decapitates the suit, causing King Boo to come out, revealing the whole charade

I think the theories of bowser being king boo may be true. the bowser corpse, coming back after drowning in lava, and the somewhat control of the boos makes sense for bowser to be a resurrected king boo.
