always liked this song ,but most of my family have passed away over the last ten years ,but sadly my mum passed away 4 weeks ago , really rhought it was the end for me to but this song has been a comfort i mean its got me through and iam still fighting ,no matter how bad things are keep your head up keep your heart strong and you can get through anything :)

I see so many comments praising Ben but I rarely see anyone talking about India and she really deserves so much more recognition! She really adds to the depth of the songs. If you haven't heard "Are you ready" or "I will be blessed" then go listen to them and you'll see what I mean!
@pointofnoreturn100 Her name is India Bourne, she has been a friend of Ben's sister Krysia for many years and spent a lot of time with their family. When Ben started gigging a few years ago he asked her to jam with him and now she is his cellist, bassist and backup singer. She is awesome.
this music may not have become what it is without John Martyn before him,but such is the feeling when listening and how good the songs are that it's a good feeling to hear a bit of John Martyn in there and doesn't detract from how good Ben Howard and the band are.
This song and the drugs don't work all ways all ways make me ball it. Don't know why. There's a note of key or some type of harmony in those two songs that when reaching my ears some how involuntary cause some reaction that make me cry.I Always listen to this in private. Find it to all so be kinda sobering. I'm a nicer more humble person after these songs. If I listen to it to much I will probably end up setting up a charity which sadly I don't have time to do with a job and da fam. Peace to all those that love old Benny boy!!!!
