*UPDATE* Amani sadly passed on 21/02/22 after a 22month battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer at just 23yrs old.
As part of Amani's recovery and rebuilding of her confidence we decided to have a weekend away in her university hometown, Leicester. We originally planned this trip for November 2020 but due to the pandemic this had to be put on hold.
As you will see from this short video, Amani had the best time ever! For the 1st time since her diagnosis she felt like she was really living and was actually able to enjoy life and forget her illness & prognosis.
I'm so grateful and feel blessed we we're able to have this time away. Thank you to her friends for being the wonderful people that you all are.
Trying to appreciate every moment of our time together & celebrating every achievement however big or small.

It's the Leicester Air. I studied at De Montfort Uni and we graduated in 1993! We still love going back for a reunion, and literally met up with friends again in June 2021! Keep smiling.

What's the lesson of all this?
I see the lesson as:- life can take an unexpected turn at anytime, Allah can take away our wealth, health, beauty, or life at anytime.
So every moment should be spent recognizing and pleasing our Creator.
May Allah help us take lesson.
And live how wants us to live. ALLAH change the sister, SubhanaAllah she because different but beautiful alhamdulillah. Do you think is a punishment because she didn't appreciate how Allah created her?. NO because she didn't know. but in her story she didn't know so Allah didn't not punish her but now the girls now. Don't let sheytan whisper us about anyone.. mah Allah grant her jannah firdous. Ameen

I don't know how did she manage to wake up for fajr and pray.. I feel depressed for her I can't even wake up because of depress. We all care for her... she had iman mashaAllah she was not displeased with her creator.. she could have said.. why me like people say lol. My Allah forgive us all. Ameen

I like to say one thing Allah gave a princess to the family but u guys noticed she never showed her hair etc always covered and masallah she was beautiful and most girls would have been doing hair makeup but the she was so different beautiful may Allah give her highest heaven Ameen
