That was my first bike when I was 16 it’s so comfortable and balanced it’s insane
This guy doing the video is the kind of guy any (all actually) customers like to deal with. He’s straight forward and “brutally honest”. I’m considering buying a bike for only the 2nd time in my life. It’s been 36 years since I’ve owned a bike. I’ve watched several of his vids and have been very impressed with the info he always projects abt the bike he’s demo’ing. Ive gained a lot of inside abt the different bikes I’m considering just from watching his vids. I don’t remember his name, I think it’s Shaun (not important) but I wanted extend a big “thank you” to him for his vids and his “brutal honesty”.
I have to tell you that I really love and appreciate your videos when you ride the Yamaha 1100 v-star. Every time i miss Mike Bike I watch your videos. So thank you so much!!
just bought my 07 1100...love it
I have a 1999 and it's great! Mine has 87,000 km (54,000 miles) and is still running strong.
These V Star 1100s are awesome bikes. I had a 2000 V Star 1100 and I loved that bike. My Dad has a 1985 Harley 1340cc and the V Star out performed that Harley. He could not never pull away from me. And my old V Star would hold the road better too in a windy day. Dad would get blown into the center lane and my V Star wouldn't move a bit. I'm a Yamaha fan along with a Victory fan.
Hey Mike, Would you recommend the V Star 1100 for a new rider. I have rode in the past but its been a while. thanks.
joe carr I test drove one the other day and it's been like 6 years for me and I thought it was great. not to much to handle for a begginer
@@bobg.9585 Piece of cake 👍🏼
Sweet Ride AND Great INFO.
I’ve only been into motorcycles as a passenger… never ridden one… I’m a 21 y/o guy that loves bikes and looking to get into one sometime soon… love your videos and greetings from Puerto Rico
Soy de Puerto Rico también, de la misma edad y en busca de una motora 😂 buscas motoras cruisers como esa del video u otro estilo ?
Nice review I'm going to look at a 2008 1100 v star tomorrow. In Vancouver bc. It a 1 owner 22000 klm. Hrs asking 4000 I want it for 3000. Is that about right?
I’m about to buy one but has an odometer issue. Doesn’t keep accurate mileage accumulation. Any advice on replacing it?? Any info would be much appreciated!
do you ever warm bikes up?
The 2 fingers down wave means KEEP 2 WHEELS on the GROUND.
Do you ship to Europe?
I haven’t looked for the rotors at all, the plastic aesthetic jug caps that clip on the engine looks slightly different. I’ve always been able to tell the 650 from the 1100 that way. I never thought of the brakes though, I only bought the 1100 because I had a virago 750 and it had dual front disc brakes and I liked it a lot sounded great, Honestly I think this is the star is one of the best motorcycles I’ve ever had. Throw a cam kit and an exhaust on these bikes as well as a pod air kit and this thing it just stomps on bikes that are worth much much more. Never going to own a Harley
Love your vids bud but you gotta quit chewing gum while making videos 😂😂
Looking to purchase my first bike. An 09 V-Star 1100. Is this a good bike for tall guys, I'm 6'6", thanks!
Did you ever buy the v star? I'm 6'7 and looking at one just curious how it fits.
What do you own and ride personally, sean?
Richard Leighton cbr1000rr
Gotta s5 in front on me.... they're pretty cool
Yea but my S4 is cooler (;
STOP at stop signs and ride closer to the centre line and live longer
@Jonas Raab to explain I mean don't ride near the shoulder or in the middle of your lane, ride on the left side of the lane where you will be visible. Riding 101
Dude, cool video but what’s with all the mouth-sounds? Sniffing and smacking. Maybe increase the distance between your face and the microphone?
maybe its because my 1100 has pipes and has been jetted, but the difference between my bike and my friends 650 is night and day, its not just a little more power its a lot more power.
Could be due to nearly twice as a big an engine ?!
i rode the vstar 950 ,it was smooth but kinda slow lol
lol
All Vstar models are slow af.
So i'm 6'1 and have the option to get a 650 or 1100, would a 650 be too small?
Get the 1100
Yes
Daamn dude take a drink...all dat coke is giving you cottonmouth...
Why you wrote that ... now I am watching it paying careful attention to it ))
Haha he needs to quit chewing gum while making vids
Охуенно понравилось как райдер представляет мотоцикл.
Tops out at what mph? My 650 tops out at 100mph
Wondering the same thing.
About the same. The Ton
Is a 1100 overpowered vs the 650 as a starter bike for a fragile fat man? lol
If fat, will need the extra cubes to shift your extra mass …
what's the horsepower?
68 on the 1100 twin V.
culture I really please this work stwognl| herself
can you do a video of you actually using your fucking indicators
ещё бы не чвякал..
You need an safe riding upgrade. And you don’t obey the rules of the road.
A gross troll for years I see. Surprised you haven’t unlifed yourself yet
