great video! I wish you would’ve explained about some of loudoun county’s interesting zoning that also leads it to be such a rich county! Down zoning in the western half of the county causes lots to be artificially large and expensive-good for the interests of preserving the history, bad for housing costs!!!
I live in loudoun County in Ashburn specifically and here in Ashburn is where most of the world Data centers are a large amount of the worlds internet 70 - 80% passes here so the taxes here are extremely high and we have taxes for everything property tax, restaurant tax, car tax yes car tax, boat tax, rv tax etc the property tax is extremely high by the way
I live in Ashburn. If I was able to redo my last move again, I would much prefer Reston in Fairfax county! You get more house for your money, it’s closer to DC, and they LOVE nature, parks, trees, lakes, and trails!! Industry is limited to industrial areas, residential areas are untouched by the crazy growth elsewhere. You can still take lovely day trips to western Loudoun but not have to deal with the industrialization in your back yard. When I lived in Reston, it was like living in a giant park. north point area is the best. You get the best of both, lots of nature AND convenience of 2 metro stops, hospitals, and a large town center.
you tend not to notice what you have seen your whole life, if you ever visit a low-income part of the US like West Virginia or somewhere outside the states you will most likely notice more. Also, as you get older you learn more and can compare experiences, when I visited inner city Detroit in High school, it really opened my eyes to how others live.
It's also richer because of cost of living and dc proximity. Loudon county is quite literally almost exclusively 6 figure income+ households though that's very irregular
@@sammymarrco47 people forget that Loudoun County was the last to integrate!!! It's still a much highly racist county's in virginia!!! And they killed me to hide the truth??? I thank you, and yes, it shouldn't be that way for many reasons??? We just need more of GOD!!!
did some research, looks like Loudoun and Prince Edward counties were the last to integrate in 1969, 15 years after brown vs board of education, very interesting, and not a good look for sure. thanks for letting me know.
8:35 Yeah, it seems to be a horror movie setting 🎥
Nice video! Full of interesting information and great shots of the county 🌼👏
Thanks Emily it was creepy

Reston is great for someone who has to live in the suburbs but wants the city vibe and a bit of walkability.
@@sammymarrco47 reston has the USGS library!
Went to the wealthiest county in the whole country and didn't even go to one of the neighborhoods with the big ass houses.
Unfortunately I was in a time crunch

First Families of Loudoun County.
Powhatan Nation.
I live here right now its great but the school system makes no sense
There was a rape incedent and they covered it up
Yeah schools having controversy and making stupid decisions seems like the new normal 🙄
Nice video! If you can use my footage to further the education of humanity, please take it. Thanks for sharing.
thanks
Wow Im moving here no laws
There’s plenty of laws
No laws?
What a shocker confederate
It was part of the confederacy but the culture now is much different then what most would consider “southern culture”.
And the most racist!!! to be black in Loudoun County!!! Watch on UA-cam
Sorry you had that experience, seems their schools in the recent years have had alot of issues.
