I've been looking for ideas and inspirations to create journals for my 3 grandchildren, ages 8, 10 & 12. A while back, I had bought a case of these composition books for very cheap at an OfficeMaxx that was closing. I thought they would be perfect for this project. I have been focused on individualizing the covers but felt the inside was quite dull. You have given me great inspiration and beautifully simple touches to liven up the pages. Love this journal! I have lots of black and white paper which would be adorable like this. I like how you glue together pages and add card stock to make divider pages. So many cool ideas! Thanks!

ok girl, you are so talented!! I have never tried altered anything but after seeing your video, I am headed to Michaels. Also, watched your video on using dollar tree markers in your cricut (i don't even own a cricut, so why did I even watch it? hmm) and could not tear myself away as it was awesome to see how you and your grandson interacted. You two are obviously very close. I am now subscribed to your channel and can't wait to be able to watch many more of your videos. 2:08 -- I love this closure! It could wrap around the back and hook to the front from the left to keep it out of the way when the notebook is open.
