@@AngryCalls Cool! 🤩 It wasn’t easy in the beginning, but after playing around with it for a few weeks I finally found myself pushing the buttons on autopilot 😂 So if you just keep practicing I bet you’ll eventually find it easy as well! I have to admit that I edited this video quite a bit though, back in 2021 when it was quite new to me. I made a lot of newbie mistakes during the creation of the song, and they are cut out. But in my latest videos, I’ve barely needed to cut out any mistakes at all. You’ll get there if you keep practicing 🤩 Have fun! 😍🎛️✨
Thank you! I connected the RC-505 Loop Station via USB to an interface, and the interface was connected to a MacBook pro (the Mac isn’t visible in the video). On the Mac I recorder the live track in Logic Pro. I have later learned that the RC-505 can be used as an interface in itself (when downloading a driver), and in this way you can connect the RC-505 directly to the Mac. 😄
I also have the RC-505, and lately I have been struggling with the getting in the flow. Your videos are really helping. Perfect videos to harmonize along with while doing the dishes ❤️
Wow, I’m so happy to hear that! Thank you. 🥰 I don’t always feel in the flow myself when I start recording. I just let the camera roll, and in post production I do a lot of editing to make the flow show in the final videos. It’s not always easy to create magic in the first minute, but during 5-10 minutes of goofing around, having fun with the loop station, it tends to be some good parts to cut together. Hope you find your flow, and enjoy the process! 😍
love people which are looping outdoors :) great inspiration, thank you! one thing which I don't understand - loop station is already the interface, right?? what is the reason to use two devices
I’m happy to hear that :D Thank you! 🥰🙏 You are correct, you can connect the RC-505 Loop Station directly to the laptop via USB. I hadn’t installed the driver for the RC-505 on my laptop yet, so I used a separate interface for this recording, as my laptop already knows my Steinberg Interface. It is also possible to save the audio directly on the Loop Station and export MP3 files from the performance, but I like to record the audio into Logic Pro as I do the performance, as I find it easier to edit with the video in post. I also like to add some compression and do some equalizing in Logic before I synchronize the audio with the video. 😄
