More Race cars in Forza Horizon is actually a quite amazing addition to the Horizon Car Roaster, I absolutely do not understand people who keeps saying they do not belong to the game The Mission R proves them wrong Awesome car, it's my most fav EV car to date rn
I've always had a weird thing for drifting Electric cars in Horizon. Without a doubt my fav drift car in the game at present is the UrbanRebel concept and it's just HILARIOUS how much angle the thing holds. The only real negative to electric drift cars imo is no clutch kicking, but honestly you can get used to it pretty quick
You know how they say motors don't waste power in a gearbox? You aren't sticking an 18000 rpm motor on the back axle, its going through a 9.73 to 1 ratio in the Model S for example. This motor turns 12500 so its probably more like 5 to 1, but its the same gear meshing friction losses and oil pumping losses in a manual gearbox. Just add a bit of weight and shift 2 gears for better takeoff and towing capacity.
