With 11 clean sheets during that period and we haven't conceded a goal at Bramall Lane during that same period. Given the squad rotation and inquiries, it's a huge credit to Hecky/McCall/Lester.
Defence and goalkeeper excellent again. Thought prior to his sending off that Charlie Goode was actually playing well but it looked like a shocking tackle and a clear red card. In that situation I thought the referee made the right decision. The penalty call was a bit tougher and I'll watch it back again but it was probably the correct decision too. Sander Berge ran the midfield on his own and Sharp fought for every ball. Scoring that goal's the best thing Davies has done in his time at the club. UTB ⚔️🔴
There’s no denying this squads ability to go as far as they want. 10 men win againsed a dangerous Blackburn side.

Get in ! I'm glad for Ben Davies, had a tough time at the Lane but that's a MASSIVE winner.
Not impressed by Blackburn, shirt pulling, late dirty tackles, Rothwell, Travis and Khadra diving all night -- with a bent ref who let them get away with it. They got what they deserved, nowt.
What a match. The atmosphere was back at BDBL The lads are definitely together. Buzzing all night with that result. Never happens to us UTB!

The match officials were discussing throughout ( apart from the penalty and sending off ) Blackburn Rovers came with an ugly game plan to frustrate and prevent United from playing football the Sheff United way - beautiful flowing football. Brilliant penalty save from Wes, brilliant game by the outstanding Sander Berge, Great goal to win the game from Ben Davies. NOW ARE YOU GOING TO BELIEVE US THE BLADES ARE GOING UP ⚔️⚔️⚔️

The bar has been raised for the worst officiating.
We were given nothing in that match, ref and linesmen were as bent as they come, the linesmen were horrendous throughout and the ref followed suit in the second half.
Ref from Manchester probs didn't like the fact Brook smashed Khan and was trying to help a Lancashire club out.
Blades did unbelievably well to get something out of the game let alone 3 points with 10 men against 14 men.

Finally Berge is back.
Liverpool fan following Ben Davies noticed he dropped out the team after injuries. Do yous reckon he gets back in now with the goal and suspension from the red card? Noticed yous have been flying amd loads of clean sheets so tough to change a winning formula I suppose.
He probably get a bit more game time since basham is injured and Charlie Goode has a suspension but once they are back he will probably be benched again if I’m being realistic he just isn’t good enough will we see though if he gets a good run of games
Ben's had injuries and stuff going on in his family life that's caused him to drop out of the starting 11. Heckingbottum likes a right footer at RCB so we'll see if he plays Ben there. There's a youngster called Kyron Gordon, who Liverpool tried to sign, who could play RCB.
He should start next three at least. Basham injured, Goode suspended, Gordon only a kid with no Championship experience.

Should point out that Blackburn Rovers are next to bottom of the "Fair Play" League. Maybe they're trying to get fair play points back on the board by diving around instead. Failure to score a goal now in 5 games seems to suggest they need to try something different eh?
