Never in my engineering studies did anybody teach me how to calculate std deviation using casio calculator. It's like 10-14 years ago. But, still this is worth the info.
How can the population standard deviation be less than the sample standard deviation? This is surely incorrect: the population must, almost certainly, have greater variability than any sample taken from it. The sample standard deviation is therefore an underestimate of the population standard deviation. This underestimate is corrected for using Bessel’s correction. On older Casio calculators the notation was sigma_n for the sample standard deviation and sigma_(n-1) for the corrected estimate of the population standard deviation. The newer calculators seem to have the notation precisely the opposite way around.
I’m currently stuck at the shift 1 part, my calculator is Canon F-789SGA, and it doesn’t return to the stat options once I click Shift 1 since there’s no function on the numbers on my calculator except 9 which is to clear memory. Do you have any tips on how to proceed to get the VAR:’)
This calculator is limited, but you can add a Frequency column..... 1. Press MODE, choose 3:STAT 2. Choose 1, 1-VAR 3. You should see the X list and the FREQ list. If the FREQ list is not ON, press shift setup, scroll down, choose 4:STAT, 1: ON. Now you have your FREQ (You don’t need to do this again unless you reset your calculator). 4. Enter your data in X list, frequencies in FREQ. If you just have a list, no frequencies, the calculator assumes FREQ 1 for each data item. 5. Once your list is updated, press AC. 6. Press shift and key #1 (behind it says STAT/DIS). 7. Choose 4: Var 8. For mean choose 2: X bar; for Standard deviation 4: sx. If you need both, choose one of them, press equal, see your result; press AC again, and again shift key #1 , again 4: Var, and choose the other variable. 9. For median (med) once you press shift #1, instead of 4: Var, choose 6: MinMax.
Man, this is so great for the FE exam.
Blessings!
i came here bc i'm researching calculators for the FE, looks like i'm in the right spot. thanks for commenting
Why this feels like cheating method haha. Man the traditional method is very time consuming

Thank you so much sir, you just made things easier for me 🙏❤️❤️❤️
You are freaking awesome! I keep stumbling on your videos and they're amazing!
Glad I could help out. :^D
Thankk youuu my final exam is tomorrow, you helped me alotttt
Damn, I'm so glad I bought this calculator. Every day I'm surprised by the amount of stuff it does.
I like your class sir. please make a video on how to find "t" test for one sample nd paired sample
How to test weather data is significant or not.
I just found this video and tomorrow I am writing found it very helpful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks its very useful made my day brother
how to put absolute value in casio fx-9750gii
It's great!! Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much 😁❤
how do i clear the numbers from the memory now????
Thanks!!!! excellent content, you helped me so much :D

I noticed the same thing for my calculator. The formulas seem to be switched.
ughhh thank youuuuuuuuuuu
Awesome, thank you.
Thank you sir

I just had an exam 30 minutes ago. why don't I see this video earlier TT now
Thankyouuu!
You are a savior
Thank u so much ❤❤❤❤❤
Brilliant, made my day!
Very useful, thank you
thankyou alot
Thank you
