- Acrylic pouring Elmer's Glue All.
For this swipe and ballon dip, I used 70% glue and 30% water as my pouring medium. I then used 1 1/2 parts of this pouring medium to 1 part of my Global impasto paints. It was thicker than my normal swipe mix so I only got small cells. If you are using thicker paints like Liquitex Basics, you will need to add more water and if you are using thinner paints, you will need to add more paint to get your mix to the correct consistency.

So beautiful to see birds wild and free that I normally only see in cages, here in the U.K. Loved this pour. Colours are gorgeous!
I LOVED seeing the birds... its so weird and beautiful seeing them in the wild. I’ve only seen them as pets in the States. Isn’t it funny how different the wildlife is from place to place
Who are all the stinkers giving thumbs down? I’ve been yelling at my screen for months looking for colored swipes and you’ve finally shown one! I thought the result was lovely - like small flower clusters before the balloon, but still beautiful after the dips- more like large beachy flowers.
Plus, the beautiful birds intro!
Where do the trolls come from that wouldn’t like this?
This one is the bomb. Pixie dust bombs. Thank you simply perfect
Very pretty! I like the "fireworks".
What a beautiful place to live!!
Those balloon dips are awesome!
very festive and fun... and the process seems like a lot of fun..lovit, as usual.. thanks for sharing your magic. it's a gorgeous piece
Omg. So beautiful. I can see flower stems coming from bottoms of flower heads. This is just amazing❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful pair of Cockatoo. One day when was rain to me came around 30 of them!
Gosh, this is "drop dead gorgeous"! What's not to like...? Feels like fireworks in downtown China town!
Thankyou
@@PouringYourHeartOut I love your work !!! I love this art medium ever since I discovered it about a year ago. I have plans to try this form of artwork this summer with myself and my great niece who is 7yrs old. She has been doing art with me since she was 4yrs old and for me it's been pretty much 50yrs with a few breaks due to life, but always have come back to it.
She's (Tallulah) very good and very talented for her age, picks up things quickly. I love passing on my love of art to her and she loves learning all forms. I showed her your work and of course loved it, first time I showed her a video of yours her mouth dropped and her eyes lit up becoming quite excited just like I did, lol !!! She's definitely the spark in my life and she put the spark back into my art and thought process. I'll never forget at the age of 4 when she looked up from her work and said, "I'm an artist" !!! Priceless !
I don't know who originally came up with this form of art but a big huge kudos and thanks !!! I don't even know how long it's been around. I thank you also, many thanks !!! We will be learning from you. Blessed day and everyday after !!!
☮️🙏💜
it was a beautiful moment there, with the birds... and the red swipe turned out beautiful, it really did. oriental looking, like you said.. its unusual!! thank you for sharing
Your yard is beautiful!! All those birds!! Magic!!
I also loved the birds ... I have hummingbird feeders .. I name all the hummingbirds ... It's such a joy ... Thanks for all your amazing art !!!!
I saw a video yesterday where a lady used a dropper and rainx to make large cells where she wanted them.... it was very cool!
I love this painting
Wow I love it the colors are brilliant.
What a paradise you must live. In
I live in the USA and it's so amazing to watch this and see those beautiful, exotic birds eating in your backyard. In the US you only see this type of birds at Pet Stores and in cages. It's wonderful to see them just free and happy like these two.
awesome awesome awesome.... thx 4 sharing it
I really think that this is lovely. I know you didn't like the small cells but I honestly think that they give the painting character, and life. I love the way the balloon dips create what I would describe as an exploding firework effect. Thank you for sharing, and well done.
That’s really beautiful! Reminds me of the Japanese silks.
The bird view hooked me in and the painting kept me looking. I liked how it came out a lot! Sometimes the first time is the charm.
But it IS that good...a very happy piece..thanks again...
From Connie: MUST try this. I think it’s just lovely! A very oriental look maybe due to the red.
Breathtaking!
Love your birds!!
Your colors are beautiful. The balloon smashes are also beautiful. The swipe didn't work too well, but what cells are there are very pretty. I've never seen a swipe and a smash in the same painting, but it's an idea!
Loved your intro with the beautiful birds.
Thats right Julie, it's not that good at all IT IS BEAUTIFULLY STUNNING! I love it!
not sure if you guys cares but if you guys are bored like me atm you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of weeks =)
@Archer Chance Yea, been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself :D
I seem to be on a Pouring Your Heart Out Marathon today. I love the balloon effect. They come out like little bursts across the canvas.
It different, fun and colorful! Thanks for sharing your backyard with the beautiful birds.
Love your birds. I hiccuped in Hawaii and cockatoos called back from the trees. Hilarious.
Turned out beautiful!
Another success. It is beautiful! Does look a little oriental which a lot of people love!
Wow! It's beautiful! And I loved seeing the sweet birds in the beginning. Thank you for sharing that with us!
I love ❤️ all your work.
This really has a Asian feel. Like reflections of street lights after the rain or fireworks. Must be the red. I've only been watching for a couple of weeks, but your works are mesmerizing. Please continue to share and explore. You may be the inspiration needed for me to begin painting once more. Just stunning!**
Oh Julie, think this is my favourite of yours so far 😉......absolutely love the colours, so vibrant . On ya girl 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love, love, love it Julie.
This is wonderful the colors and the touch of balloon stamping is very effective.
This turned out great!!!!!!
Adorable birds
I absolutely love this piece!!!! The colors pop so well!!! I've always loved lots of bright colors and this definitely qualifies!!!!
It certainly is oriental. Its lovely, so different. I like to see an artists "first goes" as they are not as exact and I think that makes them more desirable. Have seen some of your later ones and they have become beautiful and precise. Which is great too. I hope you keep them all. I love this one. Keep on learning it's a never ending hobby. Take care and stay safe 💖💖💖
Love it!!
Cannot get better then Cockatoos on the balcony and this wonderful painting, thank you 💜💕
Love the colors!
Thank you for showing the birds. They are beautiful.
These colors are beautiful together. Very joyful, like Japanese festival on canvas.
I love this one!
Love your work. Tks for showing us the sulphur cockatoos how beautiful to see birds how they should be Free !!
Oh it looks like heaven, I would sit all day talking to those adorable birds, and to see them free it's amazing, here in the UK they keep them in cages 😒😒
Back to your pour it's lovely Julie 😊😊
Beautiful save!

Thank you for sharing your lovely wild birds, they are stunning! You're so very fortunate to have them visit! The painting was already beautiful, but the balloon kisses just put it right over the edge into gorgeous!!! Much gratitude for another terrific video, Julie!
Really loved this!
I have to fill my torch upside down! Maybe give that a try, Julie!
Going to try this.. Luv it. You have the best videos
That experiment is very inspirational. I like the combination of small and large cells with the balloon press. Gonna give it a go myself! 😉
This swipe and balloon dip is absolutely gorgeous!
Ahh, a beautiful pair of sulfur crested cockatoos and your amazing garden. I loved this painting I have done 1 successful balloon dip and one rubbish but came out ok as a nice enough picture. No failures just lessons 😁
Fascinating!
Actually, I am deeply inspired by your work to start colours pouring on canvas like you. Because colours says many things.
I think it's gorgeous! One the prettiest I've ever seen. The colors are wonderful and I love the red swipe. I'm going to try this today. Thank you for sharing!

Gorgeous swipe Julie!
I did a baby pink swipe for a baby shower to gift my cousin this past Sunday. Turned out great! She loves it! Definitely fun to play in color!
I feel the small cells in this "Oriental" painting is smashingly beautiful. You have inspired me.
It's BEAUTIFUL!!#
I love this. I’ve been thinking of what type of painting I can do as an additional special gift for my niece s nursery who’s having her first baby . This is so perfect. I’ll add teal and a little pink. So excited. Thanks for the inspiration.
I think its stunning. I love the birds. It's so lovely where you live. Thank you for sharing
Lovely piece!!😍😍😍Learning from each other is what it's about. So happy you & Gilly work together. You gals are terrific. Can't wait to see more.😃😃😍😍
Julie, this is beautiful. I would have never thought to use red for the swipe color. I think the delicate little bubbles go well with this type of painting.
Enjoyed the birds and WOW, your painting is drop-dead gorgeous! Tfs.
A suggestion or two: You can try holding your torch upside down and hold the butane can in the hole until it starts to fizzle. ai had to learn this at some point. Just a tip. Your technique and color choices are beautiful!!!
I love your peaceful yard!! I love your paintings as well!
Awesome, just stunning. Love the birds. Thanks for sharing.
Fabulous!
A little tip with your butane torch I'm sure you've had tips of all kinds, however, if you will turn the torch upside down, put a sharp object that will penetrate the actual metal piece that you hook your butane tank to push that down to release all of the air inside and then use the fuel to refill, it will be good as new! Also, do turn the torch upside down with the butane upside down as well. Hope this helps! Beautiful work!
Pretty !
I love the color combo in this one. You are a true blessing!! You share bunches of positivity w/o even realizing you do it....Thank You!!!
Personally I think this just beautiful!!!! Thank you Julie!!
Beautiful! I’m not really a fan of red or super bright colors but I live this painting it’s just so unique I love how you used several different techniques to make it❣️❤️❤️
Lovely!
Love the colour combination the balloon smash looks good.
