Thank you JR. I hope you know how much we appreciate all your knowledge and your willingness to pass it along.
And a super nice guy!
Thank you both!
Congratulations on 100,000! We aren’t far behind. We just broke through the 10 barrier! Hopefully get to 50 by the time the year is out 🤞😂
Thank you! Stay at it!
Great content, as usual, JR. Congratulations on reaching 100K. It’s well deserved.👍👍😊
Thank you!
We are in survival mode right now. Idalia is heading our way. Thank GOD for prepping.
Stay safe over there 🙏
Stay safe!
Congratulations on 100,000 🎉👏👏👏
Thank you!
Woohoo, I see that you've actually reached the 100K milestone. BIG congrats and thank you for all that you bring to the community!
Thank you Shane!
Today Burning Man has people conserving food, fuel, and water and sheltering in place!
I'm building a get home bag for my husband. It was good to see I have nearly everything in the kit that you suggested, sans the cookstove. (noncooking options are currently in use) We live in a more weapons restricted state so a knife and pepper spray will have to do. Although I'm sure the folding saw could do some damage as well.
Congratulations for reaching 100k you totally deserve it! Your videos are always well made and informative. Cheers from Ontario Canada 🌻
Thank you Fabienne!
Greetings JR, Thank you for showing detailed items we may need for whatever life may throws at us. I have purchased several items you've showed. You always give really good and informative videos. 👏 🇺🇸
Thank you Mary!
Congrats on 100,000! Thank you for the video, very helpful information.
Thank you!
Congrats JR on reaching the 100K milestone. I always look forward to your no nonsense and useful videos!! Thanks
Thank you!
Not sure for US, but here in Europe "silcock" key opens a lot more than just external water faucet and has a slot for long hex bits or magnetic adapter. Nice list, I'd add a small binocs, chalk or crayons for marking, few chem lights for night orientations, good headlamp and small foldable solar panel. With DC DC converter you can charge everything from 5-12V 😉.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Or a Monocular. They store better. Less space.
@@jhutch1470 true, but i love wider field of view with even smallest binocs ( i keep 8x25 and/or 10x32 in pack, keep my bigger ones at home or in car). in any case, binocs are MUST HAVE even if you live in city; imagine going all the way up, fifty or so stories high and have clear LoS for miles around :D .
Congratulations on reaching 100,000. Also thanks for the information as there was some things on your list I hadn't even thought about so will need to get them.
Congratulations on passing the 100,000 subscriber mark! May you attract many more!
Excellent video JR. Thanks for sharing and stay prepared down there....lots of issues to come. Cheers from Alberta! AND...Congrats on the 100k!!
Thank you so much for the great information you shared on this video. Clearly I need to take care of some things.
Thank you! Great ideas and several I hadn’t thought of :-)
Thanks, JR! Glad you showed links on where to get items--very helpful.
Imagine the very worst, add Murphy's law.
Look at human behavior of resent,
Killing each other over a chicken sandwich and mass looting every where and it's still a relatively good time.
I see you have hit 100k. Congratulations! I am not surprised as this channel is very informative.
Thank you Gavin!
Congrats I see your at 101K!!! Keep up the great work

Congratulations on 100,000 subscribers. Every video I watch I remember, oh darn yeah I need to work on this or that.
Awesome to see that blade all beat up keep up the great work !! Love a well used blade
Thank you JR for your informational series. Get home bags, depending on what you need versus what you don't. Day or night traveling, versus the terrain and weather can pose a lot of unseen challenges. You have pretty much covered 99.9 percent of equipment needed. Keep up the good work.
Hey JR, I see you made it to 100k, congratulations. I appreciate the time and effort you put into making your helpful videos. Watching this video my thoughts kept drifting to urban survival in the winter time. Being from New England, I'm still surprised how clueless people up here are when it comes to being prepared for winter driving. Urban dwellers take so much for granted.
Thanks for watching and commenting Tom!
Yeah!! Congratulations 🎉

Congrats JR in reaching over the 100K subscriptions mate you deserve it as you always have great content and advice . That BK knife you have looks the goods and I have quite a small collection myself of both bought knives and I also make my own. Look forward to many more great videos and I like listening to your Texas drawl , regards from Down Under mate 😁😉🦘🦘
Thank you Rodney!
I like it, simple and well thought out... Sooo many people do not understand that gas mask filters do not last long at all. If you are in heavy contaminates. We carry Mira in our store and can't keep them in stock. Great video!!!!!
Not to sound like a know-it-all, but one suggestion I have is that with safety equipment, buy items that are comfortable, that you will wear, even if it costs a little more. I used to work construction years ago, and the safety gear provided by the company were not comfortable at all. They were ANSI rated and all that, but most guys wouldn't wear them because they sucked for fit. We bought our own.
That's it!!
Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations on 100k!🎉👍🥳
Thank you Millie!
Congratulations on the subscription milestone.
Congratulations! Great video!
Thank you Cathy!
Thanks JR
Yooo JR youmade it to 100,000 congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🙌 👌 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🙌
Thank you!
Congratulations on 100k! Funny to think that your knife is illegal in other states. My friend from Vermont was surprised at some of the stuff we have and I told him "Texas is just one big PvP zone."
Thanks
Very good info thanks
Love the BUC EES lighter !
I need to get another one! Lol
Congrats on 100k subs!
Rock On Indeed !!! Thanks Brother !
You’re welcome Mark!
thank you for the info bro 👌🏼
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on your subs!
Cool video thanks.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
hopefully, there will be a hospital open and available that can handle whatever injury that caused you to use your tourniquet or QuikClot, and they have the whole blood you need, or having those items will not do you any good. maybe just buy sometime for loved ones to say goodbye, which might be good enough. all in all this is a great video. glad you made it to 100,000 subs.
Great video n information Jr definitely need to add a few items to my bag and Congratulations on 100k well deserved God bless you 🙏 🇺🇸 👍
Thank you Patricia!
@@diypreppertv very welcome 🙏 😊
Congratulations on 100K
Thank you JR.I really learn a lot from your channel. So glad I found it.I have been stocking up on the idems you mentioned. congrads on reaching 100k.Have you tried the grayl water filter bottle?
Hello Diana! I haven’t tried it on anything too gross yet. The purifier cartridges are kind of expensive, and I’d rather have them fresh when they’re needed. I have seen some other people run stuff through them and they seem pretty legit.
Love your shows
Thank you!
100k doing it BIG 🎉🎉
Great video! I’m in Texas as well. Is that your favorite portable water filter? Like over the sawyer mini or life straws?
My man, thanks buddy take care
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
I've been subscribed your one of the best out there
Thank you!
Congrats on 100K
Thank you!
Congratulations 🎉❤
Thank you!
Congrats on 100k
Thank you!
Can you put a Link to the Gas Mask you suggested in your Video? Thank you.
Here it is: alnk.to/gVJlie2 (affiliate link)
How about a fun, theoretical thought experiment video on prepping for a possible mass close encounter UAP/UFO/alien situation?
How would the survival approach and preps differ, if at all? Who to trust then?
Could be a good tongue in cheek one for a future April Fool's Day. 🤔🛸👽😊
I have actually thought about that several times. It could be fun!
There's a question about urban survival I have a question about, but am not sure how to ask. If plumbing is not working is there a safe way to dispose of what comes after we eat? I truly apologize if this is not appropriate.
Full face masks, like the 3M, with olive-magenta filters cover most everything as well.
Magic Food Recipe: Whipped Honey until white. Beef Jerky. Peanut Butter. Honey. Trail mix with chocolates. Pack of Small Flour or Corn Tortillas. Mix all together and make little Burritos. It helps you eat the same thing for a long time.
Thank you , can never have enough socks
Congrats>>>>well deserved
Thank you!
Hey J R check out the Carolina Reaper Salsa at Bucees .
I’m not sure my plumbing can handle that Keith. Lol
Gas mask buy the pre-filter that fits on outside canister or mask will plug up quickly
Thanks for watching and commenting!
May I ask what the abbreviation EDC stands for please? Please forgive my ignorance. I have googled the term but without successful results
It's short for Every Day Carry (the prep and useful things you would carry with/on you on an every day basis).
Good video. Thank you.
Can't find notivocation bell! 😆
break in the shoes in your bug out gear in before the event you will need them.
congratulations on 100,000
portable gmrs and ham radios have am/fm radio on them as well. try to not have to many doubles of stuff to help keep weight down
👍😊
Carry baseballs, a mit and a bat. If you ever need to use the bat to defend yourself you won’t get a possession with a deadly weapon charge. You play ball on the weekends. I’m not a lawyer but that’s sound legal advise.
Im not .but i have a great start 😊
