From his love for the harder side of hardstyle, his Raw Style act “Alter Ego” rose in 2022. Alter Ego gives life to Frontliner's take on the darker sounds in hardstyle with screeching kicks but with Frontliner's characteristic sound.

so good. Great work guys. This is what we want more of. Happy to also see MYST back. We need some real hardstyle, and more intelligent dosing of the beepy kicks (it's being overdone these days). This just works, I'm enjoying the drops a lot and it's without having to do anything weird or extreme like turning up the beep. This is something that we can still call music, and it's good music.

@@DJFrontliner Rawstyle factory was really good! Darkside had some fat nasty kicks too. I thought the whole idea of Alter Ego is to be different from mainstream euphoric cheesy stuff so hearing these kind of vocals was a turn down for sure. But I love that you are experimenting now, this is awesome
