The bible is there for everyone to read. I too enjoy his sermons. But you need to know the bible for yourself and to be able to test what he says with what the bible says. You will see, for the most part, he is almost always correct.

I was baptized High Episoplian when I was very young. Attended United Brethren churches and finally Seventh Day Adventist, where I was baptized again at age 13 .
I've followed the Adventist beliefs since 13 and couldn't be any happier than I am now.

Hi Doug, The Lord has impressed me for sometime after study of scripture that the fullness of the Gospel to all ends of the earth will be not just with the gentiles but gentiles united with the Jewish people who also will be in Christ. More and more Orthodox Jews in Israel are coming to Christ and Satan so hates this as knows his time is getting shorter and he does not want this fullness of the gospel as it means his demise. In Greek, it’s called Armageddon, but in Hebrew it’s called Megiddo and used 11 times in the Old Testament . The significant verse is in Zachariah 12:11 and on through that chapter. This account coincides with Revelation 16:16. ( Duel prophecies )

Because the international language was Greek just as English is the medium of speech today. You may find that the word for Anointed in the OT was/is Messiah. In the NT it is Christ. Messiah and Christ have the same meaning. Therefore Christ isn't a surname. Jesus means Saviour although it would not have been used when he walked the streets of Jerusalem. Yahshua would have been a closer interpretation. Yahshua Messiah the Saviour Anointed. HalleluYah.

It is a "place" not an "event". Rev 16:16 is the only place in the NT where Armageddon is mentioned.. It does not refer to any battle but simply a place where the kings of the earth are to be gathered. But no mention that an actual war is fought. "Har mᵊḡidôn" (Hebrew from the OT) is the "hill" or "city" of Megiddo. It is located in the Valley of Jehoshaphat. Joel 3:9-17 mentions a gathering of the resurrected wicked here to face God on His throne in judgement.

I like pastor Doug, Israel suffered a terrible and inhumane treatment by Hamas and i pray that those families who lost love ones will find peace.
Im disappointed that not one time the pastor didn't show any sympathy for the innocent Palestinians (including children) whom have also been killed.

I live in NZ no wars, religious freedom, I don't live in a War Zone or religious persecution because of my faith I had my confrontations not constantly for four weeks like in GAZA, so I am a Hypocrite, I don't know if I can love my enemy, I have never been in a WAR ZONE, to test my SDA Christian Faith.
