I swear aussies are the best, I hope this series really continues to world 5 this would be insanely helpful as for me once I reach 4-5 characters I get overwhelmed.

The punch for Amarok follows you but once it "grows" it won't track so you can run back then run back to his leg after it grows and it will pass over your head.
Hi, I wanted to point out one attack that Amarok does that was missed. If you are on the upper(middle) platform and fighting Amarok from it, rather than doing a stomp attack, with his non-sword hand, he'll do a big upper-cut punch that I believe does the same damage as the stomp. Also, good work on the walk through.
He sure does, that punch is his strongest attack and is a little tighter in the timing to dodge which was the reason I suggested to fight the footsie but good point I should have at least mentioned that in the video. Thanks for the feedback appreciate it ✌🏻
I would personally say this is poor advice. 1st off Doot has been changed and doesn’t give any benefit until you reach world 5 which will take most players between 3-5 months. 2nd if people go in with this mentality and hypothetically pull Deadated Ram (one of the best companions hands down), Crystal Custard Or a Rift Slug and reset because it’s not Doot they have just given up a bonus that will be tangible and felt throughout their entire playtime
@@titanicllama with doot you best bet is to rush w5 and you could easily get there in a month or so if you ignore a bit of stuff, and the other pet bonuses aren't even in the same league as doot not even close
Hey, I'm having a problem with my character progressing through the main quest. My character is a warrior, and the script ncp wants me to choose a class even though I did. Any help pleae?
I think if you talk to the class npc with the quest active then go back to the script guy it should fix it all up, sorry for the delayed reply hope this helps ✌🏻
I forgot about this game a long time ago. I apparently left my character idle farming slimes, I was level 15. I opened it today after 365d 23h I got to level 62.
I have an issue where my mage and archer spam the haste and teleport skill before otheres during combat.... effectively wasting all there mana doing nothing and not using other skills...i ended up taking both off my bars and stopped using them all together cause of this...am i doing something wrong ? any input would be great ...also i notice my warrior rarely uses the + strength skill which i specced allot of points into... all this is on auto combat aswell
So position on the skill bar matters so having the buff abilities first before attacks can help with this, the teleport ability can be forgone but the haste buff for the archer will become important specially when he becomes a bowman as he gets a boost to his damage base on movement speed. And finally if your familiar with other games that have a MP5 stat or mana regeneration per 5 second incase your not that mechanic is tied directly to your characters mana in Idleon so putting a few point into the mana talent will help but it won’t be until around world 4 where you have enough mana to sustain all your abilities. Hopefully this helps ✌🏻
This is fairly common to be honest don’t stress, watch the first 2 episodes of this guide and just start playing as if your lvl 1 take it slow don’t try to skip anything, the only real difference is you’ll have a bit of a head start on talent points. Save those bolt cutters though you’ll need at least 1 of them for another secret in the game. Just focus on getting through world 1 get your classes open world 2 and take it from there ✌🏻

He’s saying it’s no longer f2p because I bought the auto loot pack which I can see people point who say that but at the end of the day if your enjoying the game and see yourself playing for a while then paying at least $5 to support the development of the game is nothing. If everyone was f2p the game wouldn’t survive
Great vid, small note is if playing on PC, you can press "R" to auto-attack any enemy you are currently facing, without actually toggling auto-attack on. This does not use skills however, which you could opt to use keybinds 1-6 instead.

Playing this game without prior knowledge was rough, finishing world 1 at roughly level 40ish and world 2 at almost 70. I wish i'd researched a little bit instead of banging my head into a brick wall until i figured it out. But heres a question, im rhougly 10 acount levels from my 8th character, i already have 2 warrior, 2 archer, 2 mages and 1 beginner, what should my 8th be?
Well that is a hotly debated topic at the moment but there’s 2 ways to go about your 8th, 9th and 10th characters. The first setup, the current meta build which is subject too change as all gaming metas are, is too have 4 warriors (2 squires, 2 barbarians) 3 mages (2 wizards and 1 shaman) and then 1 of each archer and the beginner class. The order in which you make those classes doesn’t really matter so go with that takes your fancy. The second setup floating around at the moment it’s too make 3 of each class plus the beginner across your account incase a future update makes one of the less useful classes better. If choosing this way I’d suggest making 2 squires, 1 barbarians, 2 wizards, 1 shaman, 2 bowmen, 1 hunter and the beginner class. Hopefully this helps ✌🏻
Your correct the starsign will always appear on the maps but you can’t interact with them until you’ve spoken to the telescope which I cover in the follow up video to this one ✌🏻. Starsigns are certainly helpful but nothing too gamebreaking early on so I didn’t really worry about unlocking them until a fair bit later in the game
You first have to enable it in options menu then there will be a little slyest bubble in the lower left hand corner tap or click on it and chat should open up ✌🏻

There’s currently a bug with the world 1 portal unfortunately, try cloud saving (exiting to the character select screen) force closing the app on phone or just closing on pc, reopen and it should fix it. if that doesn’t fix you may need to progress a little on the first character on your account. If you are on the first character on the account and it’s still not opening then I’m not too sure sorry. Hopefully this helps though
Yeah a updated world 1 and world 2 guide are something I’m going to making fairly soon as those 2 worlds have had a lot added to them and o feel like those videos are a bit out of date by todays standards that and I’m a much better editor than I was when I made those

Yeah it’s a bit of a weird bug atm you need to do it on the first character on your account it’s a little annoying but in my experience only happens in world 1 👍🏻
As I said in the video it was the one thing I was allowing myself for convenience, it’s not necessary if you don’t want to purchase it but it does make the game a bit less micro managey and thats why I’ve changed the title to beginners guide instead of f2p guide. I still consider it f2p regardless as I’m not purchasing anything that is giving me any form of boost in the game like the premium wings that are available that do give you bonuses to stats, you can still follow along completely without auto loot
Kinda the beauty of Idleon it’s both you can either let it just do it’s own thing and check it every now and then or if you want more out of the game you can play actively and still get a lot of enjoyment out of it
You lost me at "auto loot isnt necessary" im sorry but if you ever intend on taking this game even casually serious then you HAVE to buy it 🤷♂️ its just a prerequisite to taking the game serious
I appreciate the input but can’t agree, the vast majority of people who play Idleon play it as the idle game it’s intended to be not actively or as you put it “seriously”. the game doesn’t start to struggle until you have an elemental sorcerer which isn’t really a restriction of auto loot more poor optimisation. But I think you missed the whole point of me actually trying to push auto loot there 🤷🏻♂️. If I’ve learnt anything from creating content around this game people who play actively make up a very VERY small portion of the player base. For the vast majority who play the 3d printer will carry most of the resource gain and people like that will just farm statues for onyx statues afk for one example. It being a requirement is heavily dependent on play style, if your going to leave the game running overnight then sure it’s needed but at the end of the day it’s certainly not required for the larger player base.

One thing I've noticed here is that star signs appear already, I might be wrong but I think you only unlock star signs when you talk to the telescope

Ok, I think the problem was, that i deposited my gold in the chest so that I couldn't afford to buy those things.
