We lost power Wednesday about 9:30pm and just got it back Sunday evening. Not fun but could have been so much worse. Prayers to everyone who sustained damage and loss.
I hope inside the buildings there is no rain damage but from the look of it this park is build to withstand a hurricane. All workers and theme park staff did an amazing job bringing everything back to normal.
Best coverage of the park by far. I always tell my husband that the construction/production manager at Universal watches your videos to keep up with the weekly progress updates. Congrats on your dedication, and keep it up!
This is so far from the truth. Its actually completely illegal to get the shots this channel gets whether its drone or by helicopter. Universal has a strict no fly zone over their parks, including Epic Universe. Not to mention FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has laws against flying over any park, stadium crowds of people. Also the city of Orlando has strict laws flying over any park in general whether its theme park, city park or state park in the city of Orlando. Multiple pages on Instagram have taken drone shots of Epic Universe and have millions of views. All of those videos were taken down. I can guarantee they got huge fines from the FAA and this youtube channel is next. The fact they keep flying over the park multiple times. I would not be surprised when this channel gets a whole bunch of fines in the mail and possibly jail time (that has happened to people already). Expect these video to be randomly removed out of nowhere.
@@digitalcrack5055 Thank you Karen for that information. However, If you'd paid better attention you would've seen that the drone(s) is not "over" the park. They are hovering along the outer perimeter of the park when they take the pictures. These pictures are then zoomed in on for the sake of the closeups in the video. There, you can relax.
TBH I was expecting a lot more damage. I think this was a very good test for the park as far as build quality goes, and now we pretty much know that the park will be able to weather (pun intended) just about any future hurricane the area might get hit with.
from my insider sources of people working at/moving to epic: the monsters cafe statues will not be used in DU, but instead for the bistro grille backstage for team members in DU :)
I feel like they should keep the fallen down tree in a different place near Curse of the werewolf. It adds to the werewolf theme and if they add some claw makes you would never tell it was a hurricane. Great video as always
I do believe the curved trees in Suess Landing were hurricane damaged trees Universal bought. So it wouldn't be the first time they've repurposed hurricane damaged trees.
I'm the first to admit that I'm a horrible person because besides the poor people of Florida, my main thought was "god i hope epic universe isn't hit to hard"

Hello, Mears Transportation bus driver here: (We operate the Universal Resort Shuttle) For what I personally know, they're extending Kirkman Road and building a whole new dedicated bus way, a terminal where the buses will be parked and a charging infrastructure for the 50+ new battery operated buses. I look forward to driving these new routes!

After the hurricane Milton 🌀 was hit in Florida on Wednesday night i hope that Super Nintendo world will continue to work of the construction at epic universe in Orlando Florida 🇺🇸 when it’s open in the year 2025.
Oddly enough, we got hit Hard in Thonotosassa and Plant City, yet I was worried about Epic. While they clean up, so do we. Hope to make it through this insane hurricane season, and be enjoying the new park by April-June. My heart is with all Floridians and others who have suffered. Hang in there. Brighter days are coming! ❤

If you grew up in the 90s this park kind of reminds me of those solar system blankets or the glow in the dark solar system you could attach to the ceiling in your bedroom….. maybe that’s where they got the inspiration for the park…
